We are looking for an Specialist System Administrator Linux for the Hosting Technology team: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Platform Management: Build, maintain, and optimize large-scale Linux platforms and Ceph storage clusters. * Continuity & Support: Provide Level 3 support, working closely with Level 2 teams and participating in on-call rotations (approx. 1 week every 6) after an initial adaptation period. * Knowledge Transfer: Collaborate with colleagues in Cologne (Germany) to absorb institutional knowledge of legacy systems and document critical processes. * Continuous Improvement: Identify performance bottlenecks and propose/implement proactive improvements to the existing architecture. WHAT WE'D LIKE TO SEE * Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Linux systems administration, with at least 1-2 years in team leadership or technical management roles. * Storage: Proven experience operating Ceph clusters. * Automation & Configuration: Strong command of configuration management tools (Puppet, Saltstack) and orchestration tools (Ansible, Terraform). * Scripting: Advanced proficiency in BASH and Python. * Cloud & Virtualization: Hands-on experience with OpenStack. * Observability: Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. We are looking for a System Administrator to join our infrastructure team and help build, maintain, and improve a reliable, scalable, and secure platform. This is a practical, engineering-focused role with direct involvement in day-to-day infrastructure operations. You will work closely with production systems, improve automation, and ensure stability and security across the environment. We place strong emphasis on building consistent, standardized, and maintainable infrastructure, avoiding ad-hoc solutions and ensuring systems are reliable and scalable. This role is available in these locations: Tallinn, Malmö, Malta or Helsinki. Key responsibilities Administer and maintain Linux-based infrastructure (Debian) Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible Manage and optimize databases (MariaDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) Perform regular security patching and vulnerability remediation Participate in server sizing, capacity planning, and performance tuning and security monitoring Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues Work with containerized workloads using Docker Collaborate with other teams to improve infrastructure reliability, security and deployment processes Skills required Strong experience with Linux system administration (preferably Debian-based systems) Practical experience with configuration management (Ansible) Experience or familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) Experience with virtualization platforms, preferably Proxmox Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. OpenStack, Amazon Web Services) Experience managing relational databases (MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, DNS) Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker) Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues independently Fluency in spoken and written English is critical for success in this role Years of experience: Minimum 3 years of experience Nice to have: Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, InfluxDB, Elastic Stack Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines) Scripting or programming skills (Bash, Python, or Go) Experience with ZFS (e.g. storage management, snapshots, replication) We will be extra excited if you have any of the following: Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) AWS Certified Solutions Architect – associate Life at Relax Are you ready to join a creative, forward-thinking team shaping the future of iGaming?
