About the Role As a Senior Product Acceleration Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving Okta's long-term product success by strategically validating, deploying, and driving global adoption of New Product Introductions (NPIs). Serving as a high-impact technical subject matter expert, you will act as a key advisory link between Okta Research and Development (ORD), Go-To-Market (GTM) field teams, and our most strategic Global 2000 (G2K) enterprise accounts. While you will utilize a cutting-edge lab environment to test integration patterns and validate complex identity scenarios, your primary focus is to serve as the master of new features. You will dive deep into emerging capabilities—particularly across Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM)—to uncover feature gaps, identify market opportunities, and establish the blueprints that accelerate product adoption at scale. Key Responsibilities * NPI Champion & Technical Advisory: Serve as the deep technical expert on Okta's newest platform offerings and capabilities. Partner directly with Product Management and Engineering to provide actionable insights on integration concepts, identify feature gaps, and surface market opportunities based on strategic customer needs. * Advanced Solution Validation & Blueprinting: Conduct hands-on technical implementation, troubleshooting, and rigorous interoperability testing of advanced features, with a premium focus on IGA and PAM use cases. Translate complex product capabilities into repeatable architectural patterns, reference models, and high-impact product demonstrations. * Lab Engineering as a Strategic Tool: Design, build, and operate an advanced lab environment specifically tailored to model complex, real-world enterprise identity ecosystems. Use the lab as a launchpad to stress-test NPIs, simulate scalability challenges, and power high-value solution validation programs. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Presales, Sales, and Professional Services, to address complex integration issues and inform product development. * Global Alignment & Office Presence: Facilitate effective team interaction and maintain tight alignment across global offices (e.g., USA and India). * Office Presence: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 2 days per week working on-site from the Okta Bangalore office. * Thought Leadership & Adoption Enablement: Deliver technical mentoring to Okta Field teams on product features and configuration patterns. Advocate for product adoption through the creation of thought leadership content, including tech What You’ll Bring to the Role             Professional Experience *  Customer-Facing Delivery: 6+ years of technical experience delivering identity and security solutions to large enterprise customers within a Go-To-Market organization (e.g., Professional Services, Pre-Sales/Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Customer Success).            Technical Skills & Domain Knowledge 1. Security & Specialized Identity Depth: Deep domain knowledge and hands-on experience in Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA). Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, PCI-DSS) and access control models (RBAC, ABAC) is highly preferred. 2. Identity Protocol Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge of identity federation and user management protocols, including SAML 2.0, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Solutions (Active Directory, AD CS, ADFS) and Entra ID is a plus. 3. Cloud & Infrastructure Foundation: Solid understanding of enterprise cloud architectures, SaaS landscapes, and cloud-based networking constructs (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Networking, or Google VPC). Experience installing and configuring server operating systems (Windows, Linux). 4. AI Tooling & Efficiency: Strong experience and interest in utilizing AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) to drive individual and team efficiencies. Ability to leverage AI to accelerate technical documentation, automate script generation (e.g., Python, PowerShell), or streamline complex troubleshooting and log analysis workflows. * Core Competencies 1. The QA Core team is responsible for release based testing and validation, and developing test services that enable automation for other teams. What you bring in:  * 5+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying ML models at scale, ideally including risk/fraud, propensity, or behavioural/network scoring use cases. * Strong grounding in applied machine learning: classification, anomaly detection, propensity/scoring models, clustering, and time-series/drift monitoring. * Exposure to graph-based analysis or graph ML (network embeddings, community detection, link prediction) is a plus. * Hands-on experience taking models from research/experimentation into production — comfortable owning scalability, reliability, and monitoring, not just model accuracy. * Working knowledge of NLP and LLM-based techniques (prompting, summarisation, fine-tuning) — useful for customer-facing AI insights and on-device text/SMS signal extraction. * Proficiency in Python and the ML/data stack: Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch; comfortable with Hugging Face Transformers where relevant. * Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale data processing (BigQuery, Spark/PySpark, Hive/Kafka ecosystem). * Familiarity with database modelling and data warehousing principles. * Ability to design, run, and interpret experiments and statistical tests to validate model and business impact. * Strong communication skills — able to explain model output and trade-offs to both engineering peers and non-technical enterprise stakeholders. * Comfort operating with a strong privacy/compliance mindset — Truecaller's data products are built on abstracted, privacy-safe signals, and you'll need to reason carefully about what can and can't be derived or stored.
