ABOUT US STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionizing the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop and manufacture high performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost effective. This provides our operators with a decisive edge in highly contested environments. We’re focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems - not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe - today. YOUR MISSION As a Cloud Engineer, you will focus on transforming service requests into production-ready, scalable environments. By utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), you ensure every deployment is executed with precision, security, and thorough documentation. Your work will directly impact the reliability and scalability of our embedded autonomy infrastructure deployed across air, land, and sea systems. RESPONSIBILITIES * Act as the primary contact for infrastructure service requests. * Build and maintain Terraform modules to ensure consistent state management and streamlined deployments. * Configure and install services with a strong emphasis on security protocols. * Monitor cloud provider activities to ensure cost-efficiency and compliance with security standards. * Produce detailed "How-to" guides for new services to enable developer self-service. QUALIFICATIONS * 2 to 4 years of professional Cloud Engineering experience. * Strong practical knowledge of GCP is preferred; AWS or Azure experts willing to transition are welcome. Experience with hybrid or on-prem systems is a plus. * Advanced proficiency in Terraform. * Skilled in Kubernetes (k8s / GKE) and GitOps frameworks like Flux or Kustomize. * A commitment to supporting technical teams through well-architected infrastructure.

YOUR MISSION As a vital member of our Infra & DevSecOps team, you aren't just managing servers - you are the architect of the technical bridge between software, firmware, and physical infrastructure. You will ensure our autonomous stack compiles, deploys, and operates flawlessly across edge devices, microcontrollers, and cloud systems. Your work will directly impact the reliability and scalability of our embedded autonomy infrastructure deployed across air, land, and sea systems. RESPONSIBILITIES * Create and refine GitLab CI/CD pipelines tailored for cross-compiled and embedded builds. * Facilitate automated build-test-deploy processes across on-premises edge hardware and GCP. * Establish secure and traceable software delivery by applying DevSecOps principles to edge computing. * Oversee artifact lifecycles and multi-architecture containerisation strategies using OCI and Docker. * Develop and maintain build and deployment scripts. * Collaborate with firmware and electronics teams to integrate and test microcontrollers, sensor boards, and autopilot hardware. * Build and maintain secure links between on-premises infrastructure and GCP. * Integrate on-premises identity providers with GCP IAM and implement Zero Trust principles. * Orchestrate the transition of cloud workloads to on-premises infrastructure. * Manage egress costs and minimise latency between the data centre and cloud regions. SOFT SKILLS * You are solution-oriented and focus on "how we can do this" rather than listing reasons why we can't. * You have the ability to communicate complex technical ideas in a clear and respectful manner to other team members. * You have a team-first mentality: you prioritise the stability of the platform and the health of the team over being the 'smartest person in the room'. QUALIFICATIONS * Degree in Software Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s) or equivalent professional background * 2-5 years of experience in EdgeOps, DevSecOps, or DevOps * Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD and Docker * Strong understanding of DevSecOps, EdgeOps, and DevOps principles * Expertise in Git and Git Flow * Scripting skills in Python and Bash * Linux expertise (Debian, Ubuntu) and experience with ARM64 cross-compilation * Knowledge of GitLab Runners or comparable tools NICE TO HAVE * Experience working with cloud platforms * Familiarity with GCP services such as GCE, Cloud Build, and Artifact Registry * Hands-on knowledge of embedded hardware like NVIDIA Jetson or Raspberry Pi, and integration with MCU firmware
ABOUT US STARK is a defence technology company redefining how autonomous and electronic warfare systems are engineered and deployed. We design, build, and operationalise high-performance EW and unmanned systems that provide NATO forces with decisive advantages in contested electromagnetic environments. Our work is grounded in precision, responsibility, and uncompromising engineering discipline. YOUR MISSION As a Mechanical Engineer in the Electronic Warfare division, your focus will be on speed, adaptability, and execution. Your primary mission is to rapidly design, package, and integrate cutting-edge EW payloads into autonomous loitering munition systems. We aren't looking for someone to spend years building a single, monolithic asset; we need a versatile problem-solver who can quickly tackle a variety of hardware, thermal, and structural challenges to get reliable systems into the field. RESPONSIBILITIES * Package and integrate complex EW hardware, antennas, and RF payloads into autonomous loitering munition systems. * Get hands-on with the validation process—quickly designing fixtures and executing testing inside advanced chambers (thermal, vibration, and environmental shock). * Use FEA and CFD as practical tools to solve thermal dissipation and high-g load challenges efficiently. * Partner closely with RF and software teams to rapidly iterate on mechanical constraints and real-time mission requirements. * Move fast from initial CAD modeling through rapid prototyping to manufacturing handoff. QUALIFICATIONS * A history of successfully solving a variety of mechanical packaging and thermal challenges quickly, rather than dedicating years to a single project. * High proficiency in modern 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX, or Creo) and practical simulation tools for FEA/CFD. * Experience packaging ruggedized electronics or payloads into weight-critical, high-vibration platforms (UAVs, robotics, or aerospace). * Hands-on experience preparing hardware for environmental testing and adjusting designs based on quick test results. * Ability to collaborate clearly and move projects forward seamlessly with RF and software teams. RELEVANT BACKGROUNDS * Aerospace, UAV, or robotics structural and mechanical design. * Enclosure design for ruggedized electronics, RF front-ends, or Software-Defined Radios (SDRs). * Fast-paced hardware prototyping environments. NICE TO HAVE * Understanding of how mechanical material selection impacts RF transparency and EMI/EMC. * Experience with composite materials and lightweight manufacturing techniques. * Familiarity with environmental qualification concepts (e.g., MIL-STD-810).
