WILLKOMMEN. Als (Senior) Controller (m/w/d) bist du ein zentraler Teil unseres Finance-Teams und verantwortest eigenverantwortlich alle Controlling Prozesse innerhalb unserer Projekte. Du arbeitest eng mit internen Abteilungen zusammen und trägst so zur finanziellen Stabilität und Transparenz von NeXtWind bei. DEINE AUFGABEN * Als Controlling Business Partner betreust du in interdisziplinären Teams und Projekte von der Projektentwicklung bis hin zur Inbetriebnahme. * Hierzu stellst du relevante Steuerungsinformationen bereit und sicherst gemeinsam mit dem Team den Projekterfolg. * Unter anderem analysierst und präsentierst du hierfür das monatliches Reporting mit den projektrelevanten Financials und weiteren KPIs. * Innerhalb deiner Business Units koordinierst du ebenfalls die Budget- und Forecastprozesse. * Gemeinsam mit dem Projekt-Team bereitest du Entscheidungsvorlagen für Investitions- und Finanzierungsmaßnahmen vor. * Außerdem treibst du zusammen mit den Kolleg:innen die Weiterentwicklung und Standardisierung des Controllings und der Controllingprozesse aktiv voran. DEIN PROFIL * Abgeschlossenes Studium der Betriebswirtschaftslehre oder Wirtschaftswissenschaften * Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Controlling, gerne mit Fokus Projektcontrolling * Gute Kenntnisse in der Rechnungslegung nach HGB, Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Konsolidierung und IFRS von Vorteil * Sicher in den Bereichen P&L von der Topline bis zum Net Result, Investitionen und Cash Flow * Fundierte Kenntnisse in Excel sowie Erfahrung mit Controlling- und Reporting-Tools * Ausgeprägtes Interesse für die Themen Prozessoptimierung und Strukturaufbau * Fließende Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sowie gute Englischkenntnisse * Sehr gutes analytisches und konzeptionelles Denkvermögen gepaart mit Kommunikationsstärke * Proaktive, lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise mit dem Anspruch, Dinge zu verändern WARUM WIR? COMMERCIAL PLANNING SENIOR ASSOCIATE Berlin or London | Commercial Operations ABOUT THE TEAM The Commercial Planning team sits at the heart of SumUp's commercial engine, turning complex data into the financial insight that shapes how we grow. We partner closely with channel leads, marketing, and product teams to make sure our planning is accurate, proactive, and genuinely useful to the people making decisions. We need someone who can own the analytical workstreams for our Acquisitions channels while building the kind of trusted relationships that make finance business partnering actually work. If you're energised by owning complex models, influencing commercial decisions, and being the person stakeholders turn to when they need clarity, this is the role for you. YOUR MISSION *Full time or 30hr/week possible* As JUNA's Senior Accountant, you will own the full reporting cycle across our European entities — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial information as we scale. You'll work closely with external accounting partners in multiple countries and serve as the internal anchor for group-level financial integrity. * Perform monthly and annual close accounting processes in close collaboration with our local external accounting partners. * Prepare financial reports and variance analyses; own consolidated reporting across all JUNA entities, aligning inter-company flows. * Manage communications with external accounting offices in Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, France, and Spain. * Take full ownership of group reporting, ensuring delivery within agreed deadlines. * Ensure compliance with German accounting standards (HGB) and applicable tax regulations. * Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and support system implementations as JUNA scales. What That Looks Like In the first 3-6 months: * Ramp Up Quickly: Become fully onboarded into JUNA's accounting systems and tools, building a solid understanding of our entity structure and reporting flows. * Own Core Processes: Independently manage accounts payable and receivable, and complete your first solo month-end close accurately and on time. * Build Key Relationships: Establish reliable, trust-based working relationships with our external accounting offices across Europe. After 12 months: * Seamless Collaboration: Work in sync with external accounting teams across all JUNA entities, ensuring smooth coordination and minimal friction. * Consistent Group Reporting: Deliver consolidated reporting regularly within agreed deadlines and with minimal corrections. * Trusted Owner: Be recognized as a proactive, reliable owner of the full reporting cycle and balance sheet — the go-to person for financial accuracy and compliance. * Process Champion: Have identified and implemented improvements to accounting workflows, contributing meaningfully to JUNA's operational scalability. YOUR PROFILE What you bring: * Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. * Fluent German (C1) is required for HGB compliance and communication with our German-entity stakeholders; English (C1) is required for cross-border coordination with our European accounting partners. * Solid knowledge of HGB (German accounting standards) — this is mandatory. * Experience managing accounts payable/receivable and performing month-end and year-end close processes. * Comfort working with external accounting partners across multiplejurisdictions. * Proficiencywith accounting software and ERP systems; experience with consolidation tools is a plus.
