At praxipal, we are building an AI-powered healthcare admin workforce to address the global shortage of medical staff. Medical assistants are too valuable to spend their days chasing callbacks, cleaning up schedules, sending repetitive messages, or wrestling with invoicing and documentation workflows. Staff should spend time on patients. That’s why we build Luna. Our AI receptionist, Luna, answers and automates phone calls and she’s loved by hundreds of medical practitioners. Right now, we’re expanding her from calls to end-to-end patient communication across any channel. Over the next years, we’ll grow her into an AI worker that automates all administrative processes in medical practices, embedded directly into the systems practice teams already use. We’re backed by one of Europe’s leading investors and are one of the fastest growing healthtech startups in Germany. Our team has previously worked and studied at Palantir, Amazon, SAP, the University of Cambridge, and Hasso Plattner Institute. We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help us scale Luna from hundreds of medical practitioners to hundreds of thousands. THE ROLE This is a deeply technical, high-ownership engineering role. You'll design, build, and operate production systems end-to-end - from architecture through to deployment and beyond. We move fast and learn faster. One week you might be shipping a new AI agent capability; the next, you're re-architecting an integration layer or hardening our platform for the next order-of-magnitude growth. You'll always be working on whatever matters most for Luna's future. You'll ship to production daily, own outcomes from first commit to last alert, and raise the technical bar for the entire engineering organization. This role is on-site in Berlin. WHAT YOU'LL DO SHAPE THE PRODUCT THAT TRANSFORMS EUROPE’S HEALTHCARE OPERATIONS * Design and ship AI-powered workflow automations that give medical staff hours back every day * Build intelligent agents that turn Luna from an AI receptionist into a full AI-based employee for medical practices * Engineer deep, reliable integrations into practice management systems - unlocking capabilities no competitor can match ARCHITECT A PLATFORM BUILT FOR MASSIVE SCALE * Design infrastructure on AWS and GCP that can serve hundreds of thousands of practices with high availability and low latency * Own the full reliability lifecycle: observability, alerting, incident response, and postmortems that eliminate entire failure classes * Build CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling that make shipping fast, safe, and repeatable MULTIPLY THE TEAM'S VELOCITY AND IMPACT * Create reusable patterns, internal tooling, and integration test suites that let us onboard new services and practices at scale * Champion engineering excellence through better abstractions, cleaner code, and well-written runbooks WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR MUST-HAVE * You've shipped and operated real products used by real customers, and you know what it takes to keep them running * You communicate with clarity and collaborate naturally in high-tempo, low-hierarchy teams * You architect and build production-grade software with confidence - from system design to shipping and operating at scale * You have several years of experience in startups * You’re excited to work on-site in Berlin in a fast-moving environment in build-mode NICE-TO-HAVE * Experience with TypeScript, Python, or Rust * Hands-on experience building AI agents or LLM-powered products * Proficiency with Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, CI/CD systems, or infrastructure-as-code * Track record of building complex third-party integrations * Exposure to healthcare workflows or regulated environments LOCATION & COMPENSATION * Location: Berlin (100% on-site) * Competitive compensation: €100,000–€130,000 total compensation (cash + equity) * Office perks: A beautiful workspace in Berlin Mitte, complete with a ping pong table, PlayStation, and VR setup * Team bonding: Regular get-togethers, happy hours and offsites * Health and productivity: Free dinners, subsidized lunches and sponsored Urban Sports Club subscription * Mobility: Deutschland-Ticket Jobticket If you want to shape the next generation of healthcare software with us, apply now.

So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life. The Data Developer Experience team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build core services for our Data Platform. The team builds the Data Control Plane, a Go-based internal Terraform- or Kubernetes-like platform which allows users and other services to configure and operate Data Platform infrastructure. Our mission is to meet the massive data scaling needs of a global organization with a platform that is simple yet powerful, self-healing, agentic-safe, trustworthy, snappy, and cost efficient. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING * Designing - you align our ambitions and stakeholder needs on a feature level. You collaborate with the team to propose well fitting solutions using RFCs. * Building - you develop Go code with agents. The implementation may target a backend service, our plugin framework, CLI tooling, CI/CD pipelines, or even our React frontend app. * Documenting - you ensure high quality, curated markdown documentation for users, AI agents, and maintainers / on-call. * Operating - you strive for operational excellence with constant vigilance, proactivity, and on-call participation to ensure we provide a robust platform for business critical workloads. * Supporting - you understand the needs of diverse data platform users and guide them to golden paths. OUR HUMBLE EXPECTATIONS * You have a proven track record of designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems and/or platforms. * You bring deep experience with Go, but you possess a polyglot mindset and are happy to dive into Python or other languages when the problem calls for it. * You have hands-on experience building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines. * You possess a strong foundational understanding of networking and security best practices. * You are familiar with data platform architecture and technologies, specifically columnar databases/storage and MPP engines. * You are passionate about Developer Experience and excel at balancing user needs with technical and platform constraints. * You actively leverage agentic coding as your preferred workflow to accelerate value delivery, while maintaining the critical eye needed to rigorously vet and secure code for robust systems. WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU * A rare opportunity to join a near-greenfield project building state-of-the-art, robust, scalable foundations for the future. * Work in a Big Tech-adjacent environment with brilliant colleagues, modern tooling and practices, and large scale. OUR COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION We’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, industry, and cities. That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has room at the table and the tools, resources, and opportunity to excel.
