Team The Accounting and Payments team, part of the Corporate Services tribe within Raisin's Products & Engineering, develop and maintain account reconciliation and payment processing through customization of the Oracle NetSuite ERP tool (via javascript) as well as building Java and Python microservices and AWS Lambda functions.  The team's tech stack includes JavaScript (Node.js, SuiteScript), Java and Python. Their customizations and process automations play a vital role in supporting Raisin's ecosystem. Your Responsibilities * Collaborate with our Software Engineering team to develop, test, and maintain software solutions. * Assist in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code in (Java, Javascript and Python). * Support the team in debugging and troubleshooting software issues. * Participate in code reviews, share feedback, and learn best practices from experienced developers. * Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and functionalities. * Help maintain technical documentation and ensure code quality through testing and automation. * Engage in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and agile development processes. Your Profile * You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * +2 years of experience in Java/Kotlin.  * Knowing JS/TS (backend frameworks) and Python is a big plus. * Familiarity with software development concepts like version control (Git), databases (SQL/NoSQL), and web technologies (REST APIs). * Interest in learning about cloud platforms like AWS. * Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. * Proactive, curious, and motivated to learn new technologies in a collaborative environment. We are looking for a Finance Operations Manager to be the backbone of our day-to-day financial operations. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role sitting at the intersection of accounting, billing, and process improvement. In this role, you will be responsible for all key financial operations, including preparatory accounting (vorbereitende Buchhaltung), spend management and client invoicing, across all our bunch entities. In your role, you will have direct exposure to the full finance function of a fast-growing fintech. You will report directly to the Head of Finance and will have the opportunity to grow your role within the Finance Team over time. From day one, you will play a critical role in strengthening and optimising our financial operations as we grow and scale across markets. YOUR ROLE * Own our spend management processes, including weekly invoice review and approval, credit card and employee reimbursement management, and direct debit setup, and make sure we pay our bills on time. You'll supervise a working student on Moss and handle preparatory accounting (including cost centers and units) and exports to our external accountants. * Run quarterly and annual invoicing across all products and jurisdictions and take the lead on reducing manual effort by working with our analytics and other teams to improve and automate our invoicing setup. You'll also track client payments and flag overdue accounts. * Support our monthly close by coordinating with external accountants across all jurisdictions and entities, ensuring timely delivery of monthly and annual accounts and that our external partners always have what they need on time. * Conduct monthly payroll reviews and serve as the internal point of contact for payroll-related questions — including social security, health insurance, pension contributions, and employee benefits — as well as financial employee policies such as expense reimbursement. * Support equity financing rounds alongside Legal, Strategy, and FP&A — including due diligence and data room preparation. You'll also pick up one-off banking and insurance needs as they arise. Knowunity is building the future of learning, and our Finance function needs to scale just as fast. We're looking for a Working Student to join our Director Finance & People as a right hand in the making: part finance assistant, part builder, fully embedded in how we run the business. You'll work directly alongside our Director Finance & People and get exposure to our founders, supporting everything from financial close and reporting to process automation and cross-functional projects. Think of this as a mini-strategy seat inside Finance: high ownership for a working student role, direct leadership access, and the chance to shape how we work from the ground up while you're still in university. YOUR IMPACT * Support to the Director: Be the Director's day-to-day support, help organize meetings and follow-ups, prepare materials, and keep cross-functional topics moving so nothing falls through the cracks. * Finance Operations & Accounting: Support key financial processes including monthly/quarterly/annual close and coordination with external auditors. Help ensure smooth and accurate financial reporting across jurisdictions. * Controlling Support: Support the team on operational controlling tasks, help prepare monthly reports, maintain trackers, and assist with ad hoc data pulls and analyses. * AI & Automation: Spot and pilot opportunities to automate manual finance workflows using AI tools, low-code platforms, and smart integrations. Be a driver of our shift from static reporting to dynamic, AI-enhanced financial intelligence. * Cross-Functional Bridge: Support coordination with tax advisors, auditors, and legal providers. YOUR BACKGROUND * Studies: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program at a top-tier university in business, finance, economics, or a related field. Available for 20 hours per week, ideally for at least 6–12 months. * First Experience: First internship or working student experience in finance, consulting, or a high-growth startup is a strong plus, not a hard requirement. What matters more is hunger and a clear eye for what good looks like. * Analytical Chops: Strong analytical mindset with solid Excel skills. You enjoy turning messy data into clear answers. * Tech-Forward Mindset: Comfortable using AI tools in your day-to-day. Always looking for ways to automate and improve.
