Veterinarians for 24/7 Emergency Animal Hospitals
We are looking for veterinarians to join our growing teams across 24/7 emergency animal hospitals in Finland.
About the role
Your work will focus on emergency care and urgent cases. Emergency care work is performed independently while working within a
multidisciplinary team. The work is shift-based and may contain evening-, night- and Sunday shifts.
In our 24/7 veterinary hospitals across Finland, pets are cared for by dedicated teams of veterinary professionals. We are able to
support our patients throughout the entire continuum of care, from preventive healthcare and emergency treatment to advanced
procedures and rehabilitation. Our hospitals provide around-the-clock emergency and critical care services for pets. In the
intensive care and emergency teams, veterinarians work alongside highly trained and skilled veterinary nurses.
We are looking for
You should be comfortable performing basic emergency surgeries independently.
Experience in intensive care is not required, but the ability to manage typical out-of-hours emergencies is essential.
- Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a bold and proactive mindset – someone who stays calm under pressure and
takes initiative.
Previous experience in emergency or on-call work is considered a clear advantage.
A confident, team-oriented approach to clinical work.
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
Good English language skills – fluency is required in day-to-day work. Motivation to learn Finnish is a plus.
You can only work as a veterinarian in Finland if you are licensed to practise veterinary medicine in Finland. Please note the

Depending on the applicant group you belong to, the licensing process may be lengthy and require considerable time and resources.
