Retail Sales Associate - 1   JOB SUMMARY: To provide an exceptional shopping experience for every customer and assist store leadership in performing daily operations and objectives of the store.   PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONBILITIES: The below listing of essential and periodic functions is not an inclusive listing of all duties that may be requested to be performed by supervisor or manager. * Provide exceptional sales assistance and customer service by acknowledging all customers and being attentive to shopper’s needs. * Stock merchandise and maintain inventory levels in accordance with store processes and procedures. * Price and label products in accordance with store processes and procedures. * Ensure fast and accurate service during customer shopping and check-out process. * Perform general store maintenance and cleaning as assigned.   SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist in large event sales, including the bi-annual Mason Tent Sale, Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. * Assist in performing annual inventory in accordance with store processes and procedures.   EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: * Must be at least 16 years old. * High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred but not required. * 1-2 years of progressively responsible retail experience preferred. * Cash handling experience strongly preferred. * Merchandising experience desired (Floor/Window Displays)   KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES * Outgoing, friendly, positive and customer-focused * Ability to commit to scheduled work hours with a reliable mode of transportation * Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail * Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate at all levels, both inside and outside of the organization * Committed to an environment which embraces diversity, equity and inclusion * Innovative

This role provides general support in the lab, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring proper transfer of information. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working efficiently in a dynamic environment.
