The Partner Development Director role involves driving and nurturing relationships with our System Integrator (SI) partners. Your
primary objective is to strengthen and expand the collaboration between Snowflake and these partners to drive growth.
In this role you will be responsible to lead the relationship with Accenture globally. The success of these partnerships is
demonstrated by driving growth with our joint customers, delivering key Go-To-Market (GTM) programs, establishing critical
executive relationships, enabling partners to grow their Snowflake competency, and delivering customer success.
Your success depends on your ability to drive compelling business strategies, GTM motions and relationships with Accenture. Strong

Snowflake is seeking a Director, Technical Revenue Accounting to lead the company’s technical revenue accounting function and serve as the trusted advisor on complex accounting matters across the business. This strategic leadership role partners closely with Product, Legal,Deal Desk, Finance and Go-to-Market teams to enable new business models, structure customer agreements, and ensure compliance with ASC606 and other applicable accounting standards. The ideal candidate combines deep technical accounting expertise with strong operational acumen, enabling them to translate complex accounting guidance into scalable policies, processes and systems while partnering effectively with cross-functionally stakeholders. AS THE DIRECTOR, TECHNICAL REVENUE ACCOUNTING YOU WILL: * Serve as the company's technical accounting authority for complex revenue transactions, providing accounting guidance that supports new products, strategic partnerships, and evolving commercial models. * Review and assess complex customer contracts, including SaaS, professional services, managed services, multi-element arrangements, consumption-based pricing, and strategic partnerships. * Partner closely with Legal, Deal Desk and Sales during negotiations for complex, nonstandard deals to translate dense accounting standards (ASC606 and other guidance) into clear, actionable commercial options. * Prepare technical account memoranda supporting revenue conclusions. Research emerging accounting guidance and recommend policy updates. * Lead technical revenue accounting support for New Product Offerings (NPI), providing authoritative guidance on performance obligation identification, SSP evaluation, contract modifications and other ASC 606 considerations. * Advise executive leadership on revenue implications for strategic transactions. Translate complex technical accounting requirements into actionable business guidance for non-accounting stakeholders. * Support month-end close activities. * Drive process improvement and revenue system implementation projects as needed. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes using AI. * Lead and develop a team of revenue accounting professionals; champion a culture of continuous learning, professional growth and career development across the team. JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required * 10+ years of progressive experience, including a combination of public accounting and publicly traded SaaS or technology companies. * Deep expertise in ASC 606 and technical accounting for complex software/SAAS business models. * Experience working with consumption-based revenue models at scale is strongly preferred. * Proven experience partnering with Product, Pricing, Legal, GTM, and executive leadership to support new product launches and innovative commercial models. * Excellent analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills with the ability to explain complex accounting concepts to non-financial stakeholders. * Experience leading, mentoring and developing high-performing accounting teams. * Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, effective multitasking skills are vital. * Experience with SFDC, Workday, and revenue accounting systems. * Passion for technological and demonstrated interest in leveraging AI and automation to modernize financial operations.
