The Role
We're hiring an Engagement Manager to own how Proton shows up inside a distribution business: scoping the work, designing the
solution, and running the engagement from kickoff through go-live and beyond.
Different from a normal implementation role, a lot of what you'll deliver doesn't exist yet. You'll work with customers on new use
cases, new integrations, sometimes entirely new products. You'll figure out what we should build with them, not just how to
configure what's already there. In practice you're a forward-deployed product manager: you find what's needed in the field, shape
the solution, and drive it back into the product.
You'll work directly with customers, often their executives, to understand how their business runs and what would actually move
the needle. You need to be credible on both sides of the table: the business case and the technical reality of an ERP integration.
This is a fit for someone who thinks like a product person — clear about the real problem, opinionated about the right solution,
and focused on whether the customer gets real value. You might come from professional services, solutions, delivery, consulting,
product, or a startup. What matters is that you've owned ambiguous problems end to end and been on the hook for the result. You
don't need to write code.
We use AI heavily as a working tool, and we'd love to hear how you've used Claude or another model to do your own work better.
What You'll Do
work plays out.

something new.
