Why Valtech? We’re the experience innovation company - a trusted partner to the world’s most recognized brands. To our people we offer growth opportunities, a values-driven culture, international careers and the chance to shape the future of experience. THE OPPORTUNITY At Valtech, you’ll find an environment designed for continuous learning, meaningful impact, and professional growth. Whether you're pioneering new digital solutions, challenging conventional thinking or building the next generation of customer experiences, your work will help transform industries. We are proud of: * The work we do and the innovation we drive * Our values of share, care and dare * A workplace culture that fosters creativity, diversity and autonomy * Our borderless, global framework, which enables seamless collaboration THE ROLE Please note, we are only accepting applicants from the provinces of Ontario and Québec for this role. For Québec-based candidates, fluency in English is necessary because the position entails collaboration with teams based in the rest of Americas and occasionally in Europe. As a Senior Optimization Consultant, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 7+ YEARS of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact. We're looking for a senior optimization leader who has genuinely lived inside Adobe Target — building tests, wiring up integrations, debugging QA issues, and making the tool sing — and who has since grown into a role where they set strategy, mentor teams, and speak with authority in the room. This is not a role for someone who has only managed Adobe Target from a distance. The client stakeholders on this engagement are technical and opinionated, and they will push back. This person needs to win that room on credibility, not title alone. Think of the profile as: the technical expert who got promoted, not the manager who was assigned the account. They should be able to say "I've built this exact thing, here's why it breaks, and here's the better way" — and be senior enough that the recommendation carries organizational weight. You will thrive in this role if you are: * A curious problem solver who challenges the status quo * A collaborator who values teamwork and knowledge-sharing * Excited by the intersection of technology, creativity and data * Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus) Role responsibilities * Serve as the senior voice and primary point of authority on all things Adobe Target, advising technical and business stakeholders on testing strategy, personalization architecture, and platform best practices. * Push back constructively and confidently when client stakeholders propose approaches that conflict with Adobe Target best practices — backed by direct, hands-on experience rather than secondhand knowledge. * Stay current on the Adobe Target roadmap, new feature releases, and broader personalization/experimentation trends (e.g., AI-driven personalization, integration with Adobe Experience Platform / Journey Optimizer, server-side and edge-based testing), and translate what's new into practical recommendations for the client. * Provide oversight and QA on test design, targeting logic, audience segmentation, and implementation to ensure technical soundness before anything ships. * Mentor and guide more junior optimization specialists working hands-on in the platform, reviewing their work and raising the technical bar. * Act as a bridge between strategic/business objectives and the technical realities of the Adobe Target platform — equally comfortable in a whiteboard strategy session or a implementation review with engineers. * Represent the optimization practice in client governance meetings, roadmap reviews, and executive readouts, bringing both authority and specificity. MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: * 7+ years of experience in conversion rate optimization, personalization, or digital experimentation, with the majority of that time spent hands-on in Adobe Target. * Demonstrated career progression from hands-on practitioner to a senior strategic or leadership role — this should show clearly in your experience, not just your job title. * Deep, current knowledge of the Adobe Target ecosystem, including recent platform updates, AI/ML-based personalization features, and its role within the broader Adobe Experience Cloud (Analytics, AEP). * Proven ability to advise and influence senior, technical, and/or opinionated stakeholders — comfortable defending a recommendation under scrutiny. * Strong understanding of test design fundamentals: statistical significance, sample size/power, segmentation strategy, and common implementation pitfalls. * Excellent executive presence and communication skills; able to flex between technical depth and business-level narrative. * Experience working in a client services, consulting, or agency environment is a strong plus given the client-facing nature of this role. NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS * Adobe Target certification(s) or equivalent demonstrated platform mastery. * Experience integrating Adobe Target with tag management systems (Adobe Launch/Tags), analytics platforms, and CDPs. * Background across multiple industries (retail, travel/hospitality, pharma, tech) to bring outside-in perspective. * Prior experience specifically advising or leading teams supporting large, matrixed, or technically sophisticated enterprise clients. What Success Looks Like * The technical stakeholders see this person as a trusted authority — someone whose recommendations they act on because of demonstrated expertise, not just seniority. * The optimization program on the account reflects current Adobe Target best practices and emerging capabilities, not year-old playbooks. * Junior team members level up because this person is actively involved in the details, not just managing from a distance. If you do not meet all the listed qualifications or have gaps in your experience, we still encourage you to apply. At Valtech, we recognize that talent comes in many forms, and we value diverse perspectives and a willingness to learn. COMMITMENT TO REACHING ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE We design experiences that work for all kinds of people - and that starts with our own teams. THE BENEFITS Valtech offers a comprehensive benefits package effective after three months of continuous service: * A comprehensive insurance plan, where you can choose the module that best suits your needs—Gold, Silver, or Bronze. The employer may contribute up to 80% of your coverage depending on the selected module. This plan includes short- and long-term disability coverage. * Dialogue via Sun Life provides virtual healthcare services, allowing you to consult with a healthcare professional for emergencies, prescription renewals, and more. You also have access to the Employee and Family Assistance Program, as well as a complete mental health support program. * A $500 Personal Spending Account, which can be used for healthcare reimbursements, gym memberships, public transit passes, office supplies, or contributions to your RRSP through Valtech. * A retirement plan where Valtech will match 100% of your RRSP contributions through a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), up to a maximum of 4%. You can start contributing to your RRSP immediately, and to the DPSP after 3 months. The vesting of the DPSP will be after a 24 months of service. * Access to a flexible vacation under Valtech's policy to support your work-life balance, with 5 days available during your probation period and a prorated amount calculated for the remainder of the year. * Personal Technology Reimbursement – $30/month for every employee-offered on day 1. * We close during the winter holidays and offer flexible scheduling throughout the year, so you can enjoy those sunny Friday afternoons—provided your weekly hours are completed.
