Brief Overview
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play an important role in supporting the scalability, reliability, automation, and operational
efficiency of Amwell’s cloud infrastructure and platform environments. You will work closely with engineering, platform, and SRE
teams to help maintain secure, resilient, and highly available systems that enable reliable software delivery across the
organization.
This role is highly hands-on and focused on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and
operational support. You will contribute to improving CI/CD processes, monitoring capabilities, deployment reliability, and
infrastructure standardization while supporting modern engineering practices across teams.
The ideal candidate brings strong AWS experience, solid Kubernetes and Terraform expertise, scripting and automation capabilities,
and a collaborative mindset within distributed engineering environments.

ABOUT THE ROLE: We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Tribe. You’ll help evolve the systems that keep Talon.One reliable, secure, and scalable. Our team uses a Kanban flow and a quarterly roadmap that balances long-term initiatives and iterative improvements. You’ll collaborate closely with infrastructure, platform, and product engineers to build resilient infrastructure, automate operations, and simplify cloud complexity. This is a hands-on role where reliability, automation, and thoughtful collaboration define success. WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE: * 5+ years of experience in a Cloud Infrastructure or DevOps Engineering role, with a strong record of building and maintaining production systems at scale. * Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, with hands-on experience improving automation, reliability, and developer workflows, ideally using tools like ArgoCD or similar GitOps-based deployment systems. * Expert knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including best practices for observability, scalability, and resilience. * Solid experience with cloud providers (preferably GCP) and a sound grasp of cloud-native architectures and infrastructure as code. * Experience with parts of our stack: Bash, Golang, PostgreSQL, and Git. * Experience with Datadog or Prometheus for monitoring and metrics. * High levels of ownership and autonomy, you execute independently, make pragmatic decisions, and follow through with consistency and care. * A genuine interest in mentoring others, sharing context, and raising the technical bar of the team through collaboration and knowledge transfer.
