As we continue to scale up our production capabilities, we are expanding our Nanofabrication team. We are looking for
a Nanofabrication Engineer to join us at our headquarters in Delft. In this role, you will be directly involved in the
fabrication, optimization, and development of nanofabrication processes that form the core of our SNSPD technology.
This is a full‑time position, ideally starting in mid-July/August 2026, and classified under Function Group J (depending on
background: Bachelor / Master / PhD).
Daily work takes place primarily in the VLL cleanroom in Delft, with occasional activities in the EKL cleanroom. You will work

QphoX is looking for a new member to join us in developing and building our quantum transducers. We are looking to expand our team with a Nanofabrication Production Engineer. As a member of our team, you will help develop and produce the next generation of integrated quantum devices and take their performance to the next level. You will be trained to become part of one of the world’s leading groups in developing microwave to optical transducers. You will be involved in: * Fabrication of transducer devices * Developing and improving processes in cleanroom to ensure their quality covering operation, calibration, and optimization * Collaborating with other teams to ensure processes align with specifications * Developing solutions to prevent recurring issues * Following the transition of new process technologies from R&D to scaling and production * Maintaining accurate documentation of processes, procedures, and specifications * Coordinating scheduled preventive maintenance for equipment, and develop validation requirements for special processes, providing assistance in executing qualification protocols * Implementing enhancements to processes to improve key performance metrics such as yield, throughput, and cycle time * Working in a diverse and multi-disciplinary team of employees You are suitable for this role if you have one or several of the following: * Expertise in semiconductor or TFLN industry fabrication * Proficiency in cutting-edge nano/micro-fabrication techniques, ensuring precision and reliability in every process * Demonstrated experience using statistics to analyze test results * Embrace collaboration and foster a supportive team environment * Value diverse perspectives and open communication * Organized and adaptable, with an interest for problem-solving to overcome challenges * No prior experience in or knowledge of quantum physics is required.
