Position Overview We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Customer Success Team and help drive meaningful outcomes at the intersection of AI and insurance. What You’ll Do * Work day-to-day within the client delivery team under the coordination of the Delivery Manager, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and risk identification. * Lead client discovery workshops, challenge existing processes, and identify opportunities for Cytora to add value to the end user. * Translate client business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and process designs that support and direct conversations with engineering and product teams. * Identify data inputs, system integration touchpoints, and exception scenarios early in the design lifecycle. * Manage extensive and in depth analytical reporting of product performance, utilising tools such as Thoughtspot. * Design and optimise AI-driven workflows, including prompt strategies and efficient analytical reporting. * Continuously identify opportunities to improve BA practice efficiency through AI — including automating repetitive analysis tasks, accelerating documentation and enhancing insight generation. * Ensure solution quality through test strategy ownership, acceptance criteria, UAT leadership - covering end-to-end scenarios, edge cases, and compliance-sensitive flows, and AI output validation. * Collaborate within agile delivery teams to manage priorities, risks, and dependencies. * Drive continuous improvement by monitoring live solutions and enhancing performance through iteration. What We’re Looking For If this role sounds like the right next move, we’d love to hear from you. You might bring: * Proven Business Analysis experience, with meaningful exposure to the insurance sector (underwriting, claims, policy administration, or distribution) * Proven ability to run client-facing workshops and influence senior stakeholders — including the confidence to challenge established thinking constructively * Practical, hands-on experience with AI tools — including prompt engineering, building AI-assisted workflows, and a clear understanding of LLM behaviour and limitations * High standard of written and verbal communication. The Role You will be helping to build Cytora’s Underwriting Productivity Suite, a serverless based web application that increases the efficiency and effectiveness of underwriters thereby reducing expense ratios and delivering profitable growth to our customers More specifically, you will be joining the platform team, which is responsible for the infrastructure of our application, our monitoring systems and our CI/CD pipelines. We: * Have single and multi tenant deployments across Europe, United States and Australia * Have infrastructure deployed on AWS and GCP * Manage our infrastructure as code, using terraform * Use third party systems such us circleci, datadog, auth0, thoughspot * Have the mid-term requirement to scale, and the short-term requirement to deliver really fast, so this engineer will need to have good intuition on the level of complexity our systems need. Along with core technical skills, we are excited about colleagues who bring passion for the craft of inventing and building products from the ground up This means providing feedback to product managers and the wider company, contributing to roadmaps, and bringing your creativity to bear by suggesting features and improvements based on your technical understanding of what is possible and needed. Requirements: * We are looking for someone who is customer-centric, values-driven, and collaborative with great communication skills * Strong proven experience in serverless: Lambda/SQS/SNS/S3/Aurora Serverless/GCP Vertex AI/GCP BigQuery * Strong experience using a range of AWS services but not limited to: RDS Aurora Postgres, APIGW, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, SES, Cloudfront, Secret Manager, Certificate Manager * Experience building and maintaining multi-region deployments * Terraform/Terragrunt experience as this is part of our stack with Single Tenant deployments * Experience using an OOP language, we use Python * Experience using Terraform * Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including VPC configuration and security Nice to haves: * ECS and Fargate are a plus * Experience designing both single tenancy and multi tenancy solutions * Experience building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters using AWS EKS * Maintaining CI/CD pipelines (we use CircleCI) * Monitoring, we use Datadog logs, APMs, profiling, App security * Prior experience using GCP is a plus, but not essential * Awareness of GDPR compliant systems * Experience building event-driven, serverless applications * Cloudflare/Orca/Vanta Why Cytora We’re building the future of insurance and we’re doing it together. Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position ranges from $100,000 to $140,000. To determine a new team member’s starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone’s depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities. About the role As a delivery manager, you’ll own the end-to-end success of high-impact AI projects for our clients. You will be the crucial link between our customers and technical teams, ensuring on-time delivery, maximising value, and cultivating strong relationships which position Faculty as the partner of choice for future AI projects.
