kompletta BI-lösning i molnet.
innan sista ansökningsdag, tveka därför inte - utan skicka in din ansökan redan idag!

In Finland / Finnish language required / Consultant / Customer work Greenstep is a Finland based, family-owned growth company founded in 2010, providing high-quality financial, HR, data & AI, technology, and sustainability services to support our clients’ development and long-term success. Today, we are a community of more than 800 experts across the Nordics and Europe – and growing fast! We are now looking for a skilled Microsoft Fabric Consultant / Developer to join our team in Finland. We work in a hybrid-mode and spend at least 50% of working time in the office with our colleagues. You’ll be working in collaboration with our Data & Technology experts (~100 ppl). THE ROLE We're looking for a Microsoft Fabric Developer / Consultant to design, build, and take modern data and analytics solutions into production for our clients. You'll work across the full data lifecycle from OneLake and the lakehouse through to Power BI and the insights business users actually act on, and you'll do it in a client-facing, advisory capacity. This is a hands-on delivery role with a consultant's mindset: you translate business needs into maintainable technical solutions and can explain your choices to a non-technical audience. Microsoft Fabric projects are growing quickly, and we're strenghtening the team that delivers them. You'll join a group of data engineers, BI developers, and architects working closely with clients across the Nordic mid-market and enterprise. Depending on the engagement, you might be the sole technical lead embedded with a customer or one of several specialists on a larger platform build. We support certification, invest in continuous learning (the toolset moves fast), and expect everyone to grow their advisory skills alongside their technical depth. IN PRACTICE, YOU WILL: * Design and implement end-to-end data solutions on Microsoft Fabric — ingestion, transformation, storage, modelling, and reporting. * Build and orchestrate data pipelines using Fabric Data Factory / Data Pipelines and notebooks, moving data reliably from source systems into OneLake. * Develop lakehouse and warehouse layers following a medallion (bronze/silver/gold) or comparable layered architecture, with attention to partitioning, performance, and cost. * Model data for analytics and build performant Power BI semantic models, reusable DAX measures, and reports that serve as a trusted single source of truth. * Implement engineering discipline around your work: version control, CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring so solutions are maintainable and observable in production. * Apply data governance, security, and privacy controls (access, classification, lineage) in line with client policy and GDPR. * Act as a trusted advisor to clients — gather and challenge requirements, run workshops, present solutions clearly to both technical and business stakeholders, and help customers make well-reasoned technology choices. * Contribute to our internal practice: best-practice patterns, reusable accelerators (Terraform for example), DevOps and governance models, and mentoring of colleagues. REQUIREMENTS * Several years of hands-on experience in data engineering, BI, or analytics delivery, ideally in a consulting or client-project setting. * Practical, demonstrable experience with Microsoft Fabric and its core workloads: OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory / Data Pipelines, and Synapse Data Engineering. * Architectural understanding of Microsoft Fabric implementation and design. * Strong Power BI skills: semantic (tabular) modelling, advanced DAX, Power Query (M), and report/dashboard design, including workspace and deployment management. * Solid Python/PySpark & SQL experience * Sound understanding of data modelling (dimensional/star schema, medallion, and ideally Data Vault) and modern ELT/ETL approaches. * Familiarity with source-control-based development and CI/CD for data workloads (Azure DevOps or GitHub, Fabric deployment pipelines / Git integration). * An understanding of data governance, security, and privacy as first-class concerns, not afterthoughts. * The ability to work independently, take ownership of a deliverable, and drive it to a measurable, production-ready result. * Fluent Finnish and working proficiency in English are a must. Client-facing work is often in Finnish. WE VALUE HOW YOU WORK WITH CLIENTS AS MUCH AS WHAT YOU CAN BUILD. In addition to technical skills and filling the language requirement, you need to have a consultative approach. You listen, connect technology to business needs, and are comfortable making clear, defensible recommendations. As a consultant, you have * Confidence presenting to and facilitating discussions with non-technical stakeholders. * Business understanding: you care about the value a solution delivers, not just its technical elegance. * Curiosity and a genuine appetite for continuous learning as the Fabric platform evolves. * Collaborative instincts — sharing knowledge, sparring with colleagues, and raising the team's overall capability. NICE TO HAVE (BONUS, NOT REQUIRED) * Broader Azure data ecosystem experience: Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Azure SQL, and especially Azure Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow). * dbt and a modern, modular ELT mindset. * Real-Time Intelligence / Eventhouse (KQL), Data Activator, or streaming/event-driven data experience. * Microsoft Purview and hands-on data governance (classification, lineage, sensitivity labels). * Experience integrating Fabric with the Power Platform, Dynamics 365 Business Central, or enterprise source systems such as SAP (BW / Datasphere). * Practical use of Copilot and AI-assisted capabilities in data and analytics development — and interest in the emerging Fabric agentic stack (data agents, Fabric IQ). * PowerShell for environment automation; paginated reports for operational/pixel-perfect reporting. CERTIFICATIONS Certifications are a strong plus and we support you in earning them. Most relevant: * DP-700 — Fabric Data Engineer Associate (our primary target; completed, or a clear motivation to complete it with our support). * DP-600 — Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate. * PL-300 — Power BI Data Analyst Associate. Relevant Azure data certifications (e.g. former DP-203) are also valued. WHAT ARE THE PERKS? 💚 Support for your well-being. For us, everyone's well-being and well-being at work are top priorities. Our occupational health is comprehensive, and our offices are ergonomically designed. The Flex benefit and lunch discount offered through Epassi are available to you. However, the number one thing that supports your well-being at work is a sustainably built resource budget. 💚 A salary model that matches your responsibilities and experience. All Greenstep employees are also included in our Together bonus, through which we share 10% of the annual operating profit among all employees, regardless of role. 💚 Support and time for development and strengthening your skills. At Greenstep, continuous learning is at the core of what we do. Our own Greenstep Academy offers training in various topics almost weekly! 💚 Career opportunities in a growing family-owned company. We grow organically primarily with a few small exceptions where the culture has been 100% on par with ours. Because, we want to grow in a controlled manner, profitably and without compromising on quality. For us, growth means new opportunities: we can make a more positive impact on society, create new jobs, invest in the development and skills of our personnel, and enable business continuity. Our culture has developed together over the years, and our values are reflected in our everyday work. You’ll be working in collaboration with our Data & Technology experts (~100 ppl). We’re collaborative, supportive, and we genuinely like sharing knowledge. We also support growth through training/certifications and a strong community-of-practice vibe (if that’s your thing). Since 2010, we have grown to almost 800 people, more than 3000 customers, and we are looking forward to continuing this growth journey! We provide the full spectrum of financial services, from accounting to interim CFOs for some of the fastest growing companies in Finland as well as all over the Nordics. Everyone works closely together, meaning you will be working with other CFO’s, Accountants, Payroll Specialists, HR specialists, Systems and Integrations Specialists, but most importantly, with great customers. INTERESTED? We have more than fifteen offices in Finland and you can find Greenstep also in Estonia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Netherlands. With our hybrid work model, we are at least 50% of the work time at the office with our colleagues. In this role, you can work from any our offices in Finland. We look forward to receiving your application. We process applications already during the application period but be sure to apply latest by 31.7.2026. We can't wait to hear from you!
WHO WE ARE Polar is the complete data platform for omnichannel commerce. We connect every data source a brand runs on - Shopify, Amazon, NetSuite, Meta, Google, Klaviyo - into a single Snowflake warehouse, layer a commerce semantic layer on top, then add AI so operators can ask questions, get answers, and automate workflows without writing SQL. Our founders came from Turo and Airbnb in Silicon Valley. They built data platforms at scale and wanted to bring that level of sophistication to fast-growing commerce brands. We support 4,000+ merchants, and zero direct competition with a better solution. We serve brands like Quadlock, gorjana, Joseph Joseph, and ARMRA Colostrum. We shipped MCP integrations with Claude and ChatGPT, AI automations, and an AI Data Engineer that builds connectors on demand. Our positioning: the data layer to build agent workflows for commerce. Customers tell us things like "this is a dream come true - it feels like the first time they showed me Shopify". HOW WE OPERATE We publish our operating principles internally and we mean every word. Here are the ones that matter most if you're thinking about joining: Customer Obsession. Every decision starts with: does this make our users' lives better? If the answer isn't clear, go talk to a customer before you build anything. Own the Number. Every metric has an owner. If it's yours, know it cold - the trend, the why, the plan. Don't wait for someone to ask. If it's off track, you should be the first to say so. Raise the Pace. Always ask: what would it take to do this in half the time? Speed is our edge. We try 100 things while the competitor tries one. Don't Fail Silently. If it's broken, say it. If you're stuck, raise your hand. Hiding problems is the one thing that will actually get you in trouble. Here to Win, Not to Be Right. Quiet ego, loud standards. Don't fight to be right - fight to win together. Be ruthless on quality, never rude about it. Optimize for Polar, Not Your Function. "Not my scope" doesn't exist here. If it makes us win, it's your scope. We're a remote-first team that runs daily standups, ships weekly, and holds ourselves to a standard most companies talk about but don't enforce. We're transitioning from founder-led intensity to systematic company intensity - which means we need people who can maintain the pace autonomously, not just when someone's watching. WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS We're closing enterprise deals already. Q1 2026 was a company record. The unit economics are strong: $40k ACV, <30 days close time on qualified deals, 40% win rate. But enterprise deals are getting more complex. They require executive stakeholder mapping, build vs buy positioning against internal data teams, and longer cycles with multiple decision-makers. We need someone who can run these deals end-to-end - from first call to close - with the technical credibility and deal orchestration skills that enterprise requires. You'll work alongside our Head of Sales and partner closely with our partnerships team. The opportunity is massive and the foundation is built - we need someone who can close at the next level. WHAT YOU'LL OWN * Full-cycle enterprise deals from discovery through close. Your targets will be mid-market and enterprise DTC brands doing $50M-$500M+ GMV with complex omnichannel operations * Executive stakeholder mapping and multi-threaded selling across ecommerce, marketing, data, and finance teams. You'll navigate deals where the CRO, VP of Ecommerce, and CFO all need to sign off * Build vs buy conversations with technical stakeholders. Brands with data teams are evaluating building their own stack - you need to credibly position why 8 separate tools and a 6-12 month project isn't the answer. Your talk track branches based on team size and sophistication * Pipeline generation in partnership with our SDR function, partnerships team, and your own outbound. You'll own the number and know it cold - the trend, the why, the plan * AI and MCP demos that land. Our AI roadmap - semantic layer, AI data analyst, AI strategist, autonomous agents - is the strongest part of our pitch for enterprise. You need to demo MCP on Claude and ChatGPT live and explain the four-level AI journey confidently * Consultative discovery using our structured playbook. We've built discovery frameworks for goals, stack, pain/product, and decision process - you'll master them and make them your own * Deal forecasting and pipeline hygiene. No silent slips - if something is off, say it now. Reforecast early with a new plan, don't wait for it to blow up WHO YOU ARE We don't have a rigid checklist of requirements. We're looking for a specific kind of person: * You've spent 3-5 years closing $50k+ enterprise SaaS deals with technical evaluation processes. You've sold to multi-stakeholder buying committees, not just single-threaded to one champion * You're technically credible. You can discuss semantic layers, Snowflake instances, attribution models, and data architecture without sounding like you're reading a script. CTOs and data leads take you seriously * You have experience selling to ecommerce, retail, or DTC brands - or you've sold data/analytics/BI tools and can learn the vertical fast * You're a consultative seller who positions as a strategic advisor, not a vendor. You help prospects understand their data architecture gaps and business impact before you pitch features * You're patient with long cycles but relentless on next steps. Enterprise deals require relationship building across multiple stakeholders - you know how to keep momentum without being pushy * You're comfortable demoing AI products live and excited about the space. This isn't a "hand it to the SE" role - you run your own demos * You communicate clearly and concisely. No fluff, no jargon. You close the loop on everything WHAT SEPARATES A-PLAYERS You run discovery like a consultant, not a checklist. You map every stakeholder in the first two calls and know exactly who the economic buyer is. You can pivot between talking ROAS with a Head of Growth and data architecture with a CTO in the same meeting. You build pipeline when you're ahead of quota, not just when you're behind. And you treat forecasting as a craft - your commits are accurate because you understand your deals, not because you're sandbagging. WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SEE These are the kinds of results you'll sell against: * Thiege consolidated 9 different tools into Polar and saved $300K per year vs building their own data stack * CABA improved their ROAS by 65% using our attribution model and incrementality testing to reallocate spend * Modular Closet grew Klaviyo flow revenue by 50% with our CDP and identity resolution layer * Quadlock started with us below $10M - we helped them scale to 9 figures and a $350M acquisition HOW WE HIRE We believe the best people want to go through a demanding process. We've learned the hard way that great interviewers aren't always great operators - so our process is designed to see how you think, not how you present. 1. Motivation screen - A quick call to understand what drives you and whether there's mutual fit 2. Live case study - A real scenario where you work through a problem in real time. No prep decks, no take-homes. We want to see how you actually operate 3. Leadership conversations - Meet the team, understand the culture, make sure this is somewhere you want to build Our hiring bar: if this person started a company, would we want to join them?
