Your Role As an E&E Component Owner, you will be responsible for leading the hardware lifecycle of ECUs or other E&E components. In this role you will play a key role in: Technical authority for your assigned component, ensuring that hardware deliverables meet System requirements, SW prerequisites, project timelines, quality standards, and regulatory constraints. Collaboration with cross-function engineering teams, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers. Your Profile B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electronics, Computer science, Automation or equivalent. Min 3 years of relevant work experience of design or testing within Electrical or Electronics domain. Previous experience of managing/owning electronic components for release to production or experience within the automotive industry is meritorious. You like structure and have things organized and well planned and feel confident in presenting your status and development in front of stakeholders. Your role As a Power electronics engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will be working with electromobility, power electronics and verification. In this role you will play a key role in: • Typical tasks like pre-studies, proof-of-concept design, schematic design, certain PCB layout, on-board verification and board bring up. • Our growing team, and the assignments require that you to work in agile teams according to Kanban or Scrum. ALTEN in Sweden is expanding our HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) rig team and looking for a skilled Rig Development Engineer to join our group of 8 engineers in a dynamic, hands-on environment. Based on-site, you’ll play a key role in building, maintaining, and developing test rigs for 6 subsystem rigs, ensuring cutting-edge test solutions for our clients in the automotive and embedded systems industries. Your work will span the entire lifecycle—from concept and construction to commissioning and troubleshooting—ensuring robust and efficient test solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with ECU specialists, test engineers, and system architects, using tools like Vector CANoe, CAPL scripting, and C#/Python to automate tests, simulate bus communication, and develop custom tooling. Your expertise in electronics, communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet), and MAZE technology will be key to optimizing rig performance. Your main responsibilities Design, build, and maintain HIL/SIL test rigs from concept to operation Develop automated test scripts using CAPL, C#, and Python Configure and simulate bus communication (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) with Vector CANoe Interpret ECU specifications and translate requirements into rig design Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring rig reliability Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize test processes Document rig setups, test procedures, and maintenance protocols Your profile We’re looking for a proactive and structured engineer with a passion for test automation and embedded systems.
