Typical responsibilities often include: Lead development and maintenance of embedded software components using C++, Python and/or Linux Architect and optimise software for performance, reliability and low-level hardware interaction Integrate software with hardware platforms and support system bring-up Write and maintain clear documentation, tests and validation procedures Mentor junior colleagues and foster best practices in code quality and development workflows Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers and stakeholders to deliver project goals What we’re always on the lookout for Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in Embedded software and/or Systems development Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and/or Signal Processing Experience in AWS and/or Azure cloud environments Solid understanding of Embedded platforms, real-time constraints and hardware interfaces Experience with Linux, version control and continuous integration workflows Understanding and willing to deep dive into AI, ML and DL Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset Fluent in English and Swedish language (spoken & written) Located in Gothenburg or nearby Swedish Citizenship Personal traits we value To thrive in this role you should demonstrate the following personal qualities: Social: Enjoy working with others, communicate clearly and build strong team relationships Responsible: Take ownership of tasks, deliver dependable results and follow through on commitments Committed: Show dedication to technical excellence, continuous learning and customer success About 2550 2550 Engineering is part of Qamcom Group, a collective of companies driven by innovation and human connection. The job You will work as a consultant for one of our many exciting clients. You will be involved in the development of new, state-of-the-art automotive software platforms that will enable groundbreaking progress in the fields of autonomous drive, connected vehicles and electromobility to mention a few. Most of our clients work in agile cross functional teams. The team has full ownership of its features. This means that you will be involved in all stages of development, from design, implementation, and testing.
