About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Embedded Systems Developer to join a Platform team in Gothenburg, focusing on technologies originating from Android and Google’s ecosystem.
You will play a key role in evaluating, integrating, and operationalizing new Android technologies for automotive applications, helping build scalable and future-proof solutions while maintaining compliance with Google Automotive Services (GAS) requirements.
The role combines hands-on development, technical innovation, hardware interaction, and collaboration with agile teams and multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on embedded software development in an agile team
- Develop features and drive technical innovations
- Refine requirements and ideas together with the team
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and project teams
- Work with emerging Android technologies and automotive applications
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies into the platform
- Support continuous product updates and configurability
- Work with hardware, test environments, and prototypes
- Contribute to scalable and future-proof automotive infotainment solutions
Mandatory Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience
- Hands-on experience in embedded systems development
- Hardware interfacing and low-level programming experience
- Experience working with test rigs
- Strong programming skills in C++, Python and Java
- Experience with embedded software development
