You will belong to Integration & Verification lead, within SW Factory and Enablers, we are a team with the purpose to coordinate
integration on the complete software and electronics system level for all Volvo platforms.
We are now looking for a colleague who can help us bring it all together from functional needs to well defined baseline candidates
in car products, via continuous integration and automatic testing flow.
Your key tasks As an Integration Leader the assignment will be to coach and lead integration of a complete baseline, safe guard
the quality and intent of Baseline Qualification and Extended testing, over time. You will be part of a team that will drive the
daily work from merge to release.
You will orchestrate the integration flow at the complete level and collaborate with integration leaders at all engineering units
within Volvo Cars. You will work to make sure focus is to always have a working master – through pushing for deliveries,
prioritize incoming request, review content and test results and initiate fault tracing. And it is important to be able to
summarize the product status, additional risk assessment and data driven recommendation for regular and high iteration of
continuous decisions.
You will work in close collaboration with various stakeholders both inside and outside R&D.
To become successful in the role you need to have experience from working with SW development and it is beneficial if you have
experience from Volvo Cars development process and programs.
You also need to have excellent communication skills, great collaborations skills and be fluent in English.

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Software Configuration and Release Manager to join our core software platforms, a centre of excellence teams, developing the next generation products solutions with cutting edge technology within the automotive domain. This position plays a key role in managing the end-to-end software integration, configuration, and release process for our core systems central physical ECU, which integrates three logical ECU stacks: Linux and Adaptive AUTOSAR deployed onto service-oriented SoC, and the Classic AUTOSAR onto signal-oriented SoC. Beneath service-oriented platforms, a QNX Host OS is deployed on top of hypervised HW resources. At the base, we run our boot software and HW near software components and configurations. As part of our software delivery organization, you will work closely with domain architects, system engineers, software developers, and test teams to ensure stable, documented, traceable, and repeatable software builds and releases across different variants and platforms. Responsibilities: * Own and manage the software configuration and release management process for the core central ECU, consisting of Linux, Adaptive AUTOSAR, and Classic AUTOSAR logical ECUs. * Define and maintain software versioning schemes, configuration baselines, and release strategies. * Drive automation in build, integration, and packaging processes using industry-standard CI/CD tools. * Coordinate and manage software branching, merging, and integration strategies across multiple software domains and suppliers. * Ensure traceability of all software artifacts in accordance with automotive safety and cybersecurity standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434). * Maintain and manage configuration management tools (e.g., Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory). * Ensure proper tagging, documentation, and release notes for all software deliveries. * Facilitate regular release readiness reviews with cross-functional teams. * Troubleshoot and resolve build/integration issues together with development and system teams. * Collaborate with Product Owners and Product Managers to align release schedules with program milestones and vehicle development timelines. Requirements * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. * 5+ years of experience in software configuration and release management within the automotive or embedded systems domain. * Solid experience with Linux, Adaptive AUTOSAR, and Classic AUTOSAR software stacks. * Deep understanding of Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and software version control principles. * Hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Yocto (preferred). * Strong grasp of embedded build systems and toolchains for cross-compilation. * Familiarity with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and software compliance requirements in the automotive industry. * Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across international and interdisciplinary teams. * Experience working in agile software development environments.
