About the role
This role involves critically assessing and refining AI-translated owner's manuals and technical documents for passenger cars. You will play a crucial part in quality assurance, ensuring linguistic accuracy, natural tone, and strict adherence to local language requirements and international compliance standards. Starting with an initial manual and extending to further material up to about 700 pages.
The assignment can be executed fully remote during flexible working hours but needs to be completed before/during the summer. You will need to have access to a computer with a license for Office 365 and WiFi.
Work tasks
Quality assurance and linguistic refinement of AI-translated technical documentation and owner's manuals for the automotive sector, ensuring compliance with international and local standards.
Review AI-translated technical material for automotive owner's manuals.
Verify language, tone, and formulations to ensure natural and accurate text.
Implement linguistic adjustments and improvements.
Ensure content adheres to local language requirements and industry standards.
Identify and address deficiencies in manuals to meet EU compliance.
We are looking for
Access to a computer with the Office 365 suite.
Advanced fluency in one of the following languages: Dutch, German, French, Danish, Norwegian, Romanian, Slovenian, Croatian, Greek, Portuguese, Polish, Czech, Serbian, Slovak, Estonian, Latvian, Hungarian.
Advanced reading comprehension and meticulous attention to detail.
Good knowledge of technical documentation principles.
Fluent in English.

Experience with reviewing AI-translated content.

WHAT YOU'LL DO Designers at Stripe's SDC bring a passion for captivating storytelling and great design. They use design systems to tell compelling stories to a variety of audiences, and are well-versed at expanding, evolving, defining, and documenting flexible design systems that achieve bar-raising quality and consistency for the brand at scale. They are user-focused, business-savvy, empathetic, and inspiring. The ideal candidate excels across a variety of styles, crisply articulates design decisions, iterates quickly, and collaborates seamlessly with marketers, product managers, leaders, other designers, and cross-functional partners. Responsibilities * Ideate, design, and produce world-class design solutions—both static and motion—across a range of deliverables including presentations, posters, brand art, and signage. * Steward designers through large-scale projects, providing art direction and ongoing guidance on creative strategy, execution, and localization. * Work across a wide variety of mediums (physical, digital, and everything in between) to create immersive storytelling and creative content that brings Stripe's brand and product stories to life. * Bring design concepts to life through storyboarding, comps, and creative presentations, iterating based on stakeholder feedback and internal testing. * Collaborate with copywriters, static and motion designers, marketers, and ad operations to develop visionary concepts that engage a global audience. * Mentor designers in best practices and ideation, fostering an environment where everyone learns and grows. * Present ideas in a clear, focused way that builds consensus within the team and with stakeholders. * Proactively identify and implement process improvements through automation and AI integration to enhance design quality and efficiency. Requirements * 6–10 years of relevant design and art direction experience, with a focus on technical or product-driven companies. * Strong track record of independently delivering high-quality work and influencing the output of other designers and cross-functional teams. * Proficiency in Figma, Canva, and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (motion and statics). * Experience managing or mentoring a team of designers. * Ability to express and communicate a brand through distinct graphics, patterns, motion, interaction, and experiences. * A hands-on maker with the skills to effectively communicate concepts, direction, and decisions to teams and external partners. * Ability to balance speed and quality, consistently delivering challenging, interesting, and pixel-perfect work. * Persuasive and receptive to feedback; able to clearly explain work, process, and decisions. * Comfortable working flexible hours, including late evenings (IST), to collaborate in real time with global stakeholders. * Highly detail-oriented, with a drive for pixel-perfect craft. Our clients are primarily authorities concerned with asylum matters. The analyses support the authorities in determining the background of asylum seekers. In each case, a language analyst with a specific linguistic and areal competence is involved. The native speaker analysts work together with Verified’s linguists. To work as a language analyst for Saho/Arabic, you should - speak Saho and/or Arabic as spoken in Eritrea - have in-depth knowledge of the area where Saho is spoken (born and raised/long-term residence) and be well acquainted with the social, cultural and political situation there - be familiar with dialectal variation in Saho and/or Eritrean Arabic and its relationship to neighbouring languages - be aware of current developments in the Saho community in Eritrea - be able to express yourself clearly and correctly in English (or Swedish) - have good computer skills We value punctuality, orderliness and dependability among our analysts.
