We are now seeking a Rig/Track Test Engineer for one of our clients.
About the assignment:
As a test engineer in the ADAS team you will use state-of-the-art equipment such as driverless steering robots and self-propelling soft targets to develop new world leading vehicle functions. The area of AD, ADAS and V2X testing is growing and new functionality is developed continuously. You will be a part of one of the most skilled active safety testing teams in the world with a great opportunity for self-development as well as initiate and lead development of future test methods, testing systems and components. There will also be possibilities to participate in research and investment projects.
Main responsibilities: Plan, prepare and carry through tests on the test track. You will have technical, operational and safety responsibility for the test setup and test procedure including rigs and equipment. You will be involved in improvement and maintenance of our test equipment to fulfill existing and new testing and rating standards. In close collaboration with the stakeholders participate in the development of new test methods digital tools and sometimes support research projects.
What you’ll bring
The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented and innovative person with a positive and proactive attitude. Structured and well organized with a sense for quality and customer focus. Good communication skills are important. You should be practical and like hands on work but at the same time analytical and methodical. The work involves handling a lot of advanced measuring equipment, securing measurement accuracy and being able to do fault trace and fixes during testing when needed, sometimes under time pressure.
Qualifications:
M.Sc. or experienced B.Sc. in Mechatronics, Electronics or similar education • Good skills in Electronics, Control and Automation • Fluent in English (spoken and written) • Swedish driving license B. BE license is meritorious • An experienced driver (min 15000 km/year or motor sport experience). • Experience in programming, preferably in Python but C and C++ is meritorious • Knowledge of measurements and signal processing, for example Vector tools as CANalyzer, CANoe and CAPL as well as knowledge in communication networks such as LIN, CAN, Ethernet are meritorious • Preferably you also have some experience working with hardware and/or measurement equipment • Experience working with AD (autonomous drive) and V2X (vehicle to vehicle or vehicle to infrastructure) is meritorious

What you will do In this role you will be in the heart of battery technology, working with verification of batteries ensuring fulfillment of safety, performance, and functional requirements. Testing will be done to understand the characteristics and functionalities of complete battery packs configurations.
The work is done in close collaboration with development teams, suppliers, and other functions. You therefore need to be skilled in working in a cross-functional and international environment.
We are seeking experienced verification engineers who will have the following responsibilities: • Verify battery packs and their functionality and performance • Prepare rig environment for testing • Increase automation of testing procedures • Develop test methods and test requirements • Develop ways of working within ESS verification area • Plan, perform, report, and follow up on verification deliverables
Requirements: • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Power Electronics, Electrical and Electronics or similar relevant education • At least 10 years of system testing experience and at least 3 years of experience in battery development and/or testing of battery packs or modules • Good communication and co-operation skills are essential in this role • Experience with Python, Matlab and Vector Tools
Meriting: • Experience from commercial vehicle or automotive product development • Experience in testing environments for battery packs • Experience in battery testing in vehicle environment • Truck driving license

At Propulsion System Test Centre, we support the sustainability mission by being part of the commitment to rethink sustainability in our operations, in our cars, and in society. Our scope is to secure appropriate and efficient test facilities enabling testing, verification, and validation of batteries, power electronics, electric motors and transmission as well as NVH and tires.We are expanding our EMC Lab capabilities, and we’re looking for a Technical Support Engineer who is ready to contribute to building new labs and developing our existing facilities in a growing team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support mechanical design by securing effective solutions for dummy parts, bridging parts, and fixtures, while providing technical and mechanical support to stakeholders. You will also assist the test coordinator with rig-related knowledge and detailed understanding of test objects to support test planning. Close collaboration with laboratory personnel is a key part of the role, contributing with practical solutions to improve testbeds and installations.
You will support laboratory staff and stakeholders by ensuring safe ways of working, providing guidance on testbed safety, installations, and laboratory procedures. Responsibility for equipment not connected to specific testbeds—such as battery simulators, emulators, and spare parts—is included. You will proactively contribute to laboratory safety by identifying risks, reporting observations, and performing risk assessments as part of daily operations.
The role also includes participation in investment projects, contributing to reviews, audits, RFQs, and defining interfaces between test objects and testbeds. You will help ensure that layouts meet requirements related to ways of working, testbed similarity, safety, and ergonomics. In addition, you will contribute to task forces and cross-functional initiatives, supporting continuous improvement across the laboratory environment. In this role you will also support in planning and execution of external testing.
What you'll bring
• Experience in hardware verification and/or test method development • Hands-on mechanical HW experience from test objects and other laboratory equipment• Knowledge of Ethernet, CAN protocols, and relevant measurement equipment • Ability to fault trace and troubleshoot complex systems involving both hardware and software • High level of safety awareness • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in EMC and EMI, including related test methods • Experience working with hazardous voltage; certification will be required • Valid Swedish driver’s licenseAs a person you are comfortable taking ownership and making independent decisions, with the confidence to act on your own initiative. As a Software Developer C/C++ at Capgemini Engineering, you will develop, test and validate embedded software and vehicle systems. We believe the right candidate combines strong software development skills with a genuine interest in software verification and system-level testing. The role requires regular on-site presence due to the hands-on validation in vehicle and Rig environments.
In this role you will play a key role in:
Develop and maintain embedded software in C/C++
Perform end-to-end testing, verification, and validation in vehicle environments
Troubleshoot and validate software functionality in real product environments
Contribute to both development and testing in an agile environment

Your profile
4+ years of experience in C/C++ development
Experience with testing, verification, integration, and full software lifecycle
Experience with Linux-based application development and embedded systems
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and agile teamwork
Swedish driver’s license
Experience in automotive embedded environments, vehicle testing, or hardware setups is a plus as well as Swedish language skills.
