ABOUT THE ROLE
SEGULA Technologies is looking for a Wiring & Harness Engineer to join its engineering team in Gothenburg. In this role, you will
be responsible for developing and documenting wiring harnesses and power cable components used in advanced vehicle systems.
Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, you will contribute to the design of reliable electrical distribution
systems that support the next generation of automotive technology.
You will develop technical solutions based on product requirements, create designs using CAD tools, and contribute to continuous
improvements of wiring and harness solutions. The role also includes responsibility for product structure, technical
documentation, and supporting the technical release process.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys combining technical design, problem-solving, and continuous product

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and document wiring harnesses and power cable components, including wires, cables, connectors, brackets, cable channels,
and passive components.
Design wiring harnesses based on product requirements using CAD tools.
Develop technical solutions and identify opportunities for product improvements.
Evaluate design alternatives and propose new technical solutions.
Manage and maintain the wiring harness product structure.
Support and control the technical release process.
Perform design updates and engineering changes throughout the product development lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure high-quality technical solutions.
Contribute to continuous improvements in wiring harness design and engineering processes.

PROFILE - WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Qualifications:
- Approximately 2–5 years of relevant experience within wiring harness design, electrical engineering, or a similar technical
field.
Experience developing and documenting wiring harnesses and power cable components.
Experience designing wiring harnesses based on technical requirements using CAD tools.
Experience developing technical solutions and supporting engineering improvements.
Experience managing product structures and supporting technical release activities.
Ability to work independently, plan your own work, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
Self-driven with a proactive approach to learning and continuous professional development.
Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Desirable:
Experience working with wiring harness components such as connectors, cables, brackets, cable channels, and passive components.
Experience proposing and implementing technical improvements during product development.
Broad understanding of engineering development processes and cross-functional collaboration.
Interest in expanding technical knowledge beyond your own engineering discipline.
