Du übersetzt Forecasts in belastbare Bedarfs-, Bestands- und Bestellentscheidungen, führst dein Team fachlich und disziplinarisch und bist enger Sparringspartner des Head of Forecasting. DEINE AUFGABEN MIT MAXXIMALEM FOKUS Demand Planning Ownership * Verantwortung für das operative und taktische Demand Planning als Ableitung aus dem zentralen Forecast. * Sicherstellung stabiler Bestände, hoher Warenverfügbarkeit und effizienter Bestellprozesse. * Erstellung, Pflege und Plausibilisierung von Bedarfs- und Bestellplänen. * Monitoring von Beständen, Sicherheitsmengen, Lieferzeiten und Abverkauf. * Früherkennung von Engpässen, Überbeständen und operativen Risiken. Buying & Supplier Coordination * Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Einkauf & Lieferanten bei Bestellungen, Terminverfolgung und Mengensteuerung. * Operative Steuerung von Lieferterminen, Produktionsstatus und Eskalationen. * Sicherstellung eines reibungslosen Warenflusses entlang der Supply Chain. Sparring & Schnittstellenarbeit * Aktiver Sparringspartner für den Head of Forecasting: Feedback zur Forecast-Plausibilität aus operativer Sicht. * Enge Abstimmung mit Sales, Customer Success, Logistik und Produktion. * Übersetzung strategischer Forecast-Vorgaben in umsetzbare operative Maßnahmen. Leadership & Team Development * Fachliche und disziplinarische Führung eines Demand- / Buying-Teams. * Entwicklung klarer Strukturen, Prioritäten und Verantwortlichkeiten im Team. * Coaching, fachliche Weiterentwicklung und enge Begleitung der Mitarbeitenden. * Förderung einer kooperativen, lösungsorientierten Teamkultur. Prozesse, Tools & Optimierung * Nutzung und Weiterentwicklung von Demand-Planning- und ERP-Tools (z. B. SAP Business One, Streamline). * Identifikation und Umsetzung operativer Verbesserungen in Planung, Disposition und Buying. * Mitarbeit an Szenarioanalysen, kleineren Business Cases und Prozessprojekten. DEIN SKILLSET - STARK WIE UNSER PROTEIN * Studium in BWL, Supply Chain Management, Logistik oder vergleichbar. * Mehrere Jahre Erfahrung im Demand Planning / Supply Chain / Einkauf, idealerweise mit Führungsverantwortung. * Sehr strukturierte, analytische Arbeitsweise mit hoher Zahlenaffinität. * Erfahrung in der fachlichen und/oder disziplinarischen Führung von Teams. * Ausgeprägte People Skills: verbindlich, klar, empathisch * Sicherer Umgang mit ERP- und Forecasting-Tools (z. B. SAP, Streamline). * Teamorientiert, lösungsfokussiert und umsetzungsstark. * Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse.
YOUR MISSION As a Senior Quality Manager (all genders), you will define, build-up and implement all Quality, Compliance und HSE processes and activities from the shopfloor up to the national & international regulatory authorities. Play a pivotal role in our journey to sustainable aviation by providing a state-of-the-art quality management system. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY * Own the end-to-end quality process. * Develop and implement an efficient, robust quality management system to ensure compliance with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements. * Introduction and harmonization of efficient QMS processes (e.g. integration into ERP/MES). * Implementation, assurance, and further development of standards & certifications (e.g. AS/EN9100). * Management of internal, external and customer audits, from planning up to CAPA measures. * Work with the supply chain management team to ensure supplier product and process quality requirements. * Establish a streamlined overall quality process to effectively meet day-to-day operational requirements. * Interface to customers, certification bodies, and authorities for quality related topics. * Promoting a culture of quality and safety. YOUR PROFILE * 5–7 years of professional experience in quality management. * Degree in Engineering or a related technical field. * Extensive experience in Aircraft Development Programs, demonstrating industry-specific knowledge and expertise. * In depth-knowledge of aerospace quality standards (AS/EN9100) and regulations (LBA, EASA). * Strong understanding of QMS, Audits, CAPA and HSE-Management. * Ability to integrate the QMS with other company systems (e.g. ERP). * Outstanding people skills, including empathy and strong interpersonal capabilities. * Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, coupled with strong planning abilities for working with diverse stakeholders, including customers and regulatory bodies. * Fluency in both German and English, with advanced negotiation skills in both languages. As Senior Supplier Quality Manager, you will play a key role in developing how we work with our suppliers, establishing clear, effective standards, and building processes that support sustainable growth and innovation. This role goes beyond day-to-day quality management. You’ll contribute to defining ways of working, influencing direction, and partnering with suppliers to build a resilient, collaborative, and future-ready supply chain. You will report directly to our VP of Procurement & Supply Chain, with a functional reporting line to the Director of Quality. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining delivery with the opportunity to help shape the systems, standards, and processes that will support Vertical’s transition from development into production and service. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Contribute to and implement supplier quality strategy aligned to business growth, certification, and industrialisation goals * Develop and continuously improve supplier quality processes, governance, and standards, including performance management and risk mitigation * Build strong, effective ways of working across suppliers, engineering, operations, and procurement teams * Support supplier development activities, working collaboratively to improve capability, maturity, and performance across the network * Monitor and improve supplier quality performance, using data and insights to guide continuous improvement * Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and key suppliers, acting as a visible and approachable quality partner * Identify and manage risk, supporting proactive quality planning and early issue detection * Help ensure processes, tools, and governance evolve as the organisation grows and production scales WHAT YOU’LL BRING * Degree in engineering (or similar) preferred; equivalent practical experience also valued * Strong experience in supplier quality within aerospace (ideally around 10 years), with familiarity with standards such as AS9100 (or AS13100) and Part 21G and/or J * Experience supporting supplier audits, development, and continuous improvement, including use of problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5 Whys, and PFMEA * Experience working with suppliers on new product introduction / industrialisation, alongside the ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand manufacturing processes * Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships, contribute to team development, and adapt in a fast-paced environment * Willingness to travel globally (~25%), primarily within Europe with some further travel as required What can you expect from us?
