Vi söker nu en Electrical Application Engineer till ett omfattande uppdrag hos en ledande aktör inom försvarsindustrin. Du blir en viktig del av ett nytt End-to-End Cable Center of Excellence med ansvar för att utveckla, verifiera, industrialisera och produktionssätta avancerade kabelsystem.
Verksamheten bygger upp ett snabbfotat och tvärfunktionellt team som ansvarar för hela produktlivscykeln – från koncept och utveckling till verifierad serieproduktion. Arbetet präglas av korta beslutsvägar, stort eget ansvar och ett tydligt fokus på kvalitet, leverans och teknisk excellens.
Arbetsuppgifter och ansvarsområden
Som Electrical Application Engineer ansvarar du för elektrisk konstruktion, verifiering och integration av kabelsystem i militära fordon och försvarssystem.
Du omsätter systemkrav och tekniska specifikationer till robusta elektriska lösningar och samarbetar nära systemingenjörer, mekanikkonstruktörer, produktionstekniker, kvalitet, inköp och leverantörer. Du följer lösningen genom hela utvecklingskedjan – från kravanalys och konstruktion till prototyp, verifiering, systemintegration och överlämning till produktion.
Om MIL-kablage
MIL-kablage, Military Cable Harnesses, är avancerade kabelsystem för militära fordon och försvarssystem. De ska fungera i mycket krävande miljöer och uppfylla höga krav på robusthet, kvalitet, spårbarhet och tillförlitlighet.
Konstruktionen behöver bland annat ta hänsyn till elektrisk belastning, signalintegritet, elektromagnetisk kompatibilitet, miljöpåverkan, materialval, gränssnitt och installationsförutsättningar.
Dina huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter
Utveckla och konstruera elektriska lösningar för avancerade kabelsystem
Ta fram och uppdatera elscheman, kopplingsunderlag och tekniska specifikationer
Dimensionera kablar, ledare, kontakter och andra elektriska komponenter
Säkerställa att konstruktionen uppfyller systemkrav och tekniska standarder
Definiera och hantera elektriska gränssnitt mellan system och delsystem
Arbeta med systemintegration i fordon eller andra tekniska plattformar
Medverka vid prototypframtagning, verifiering, testning och felsökning
Hantera tekniska avvikelser och kvalitetssäkra dokumentation
Ge tekniskt stöd till produktion, inköp och leverantörer

Verifierade och integrerade elektriska lösningar
Tydliga gränssnitts- och konstruktionsunderlag

Vi söker dig som
Har erfarenhet av elektrisk konstruktion eller utveckling av elektriska system
Har arbetat med framtagning och hantering av elscheman
Har erfarenhet av systemintegration och tekniska gränssnitt
Kan tolka tekniska krav, specifikationer och konstruktionsunderlag
Har erfarenhet av verifiering, testning eller felsökning av elektriska system
Har god förståelse för kablar, kontakter och elektriska komponenter
Har en relevant teknisk utbildning eller motsvarande arbetslivserfarenhet
Kommunicerar väl på svenska och engelska i tal och skrift
Det är meriterande om du har
Erfarenhet av MIL-kablage eller motsvarande avancerade kabelsystem
Arbetat med elektriska system inom försvars-, fordons-, flyg- eller marinindustrin
Kunskap inom EMC, signalintegritet, jordning eller skärmning
Erfarenhet av E-CAD-verktyg för elscheman och kabelkonstruktion
Arbetat med kravhantering, konfigurationsstyrning eller ändringshantering
Erfarenhet av verksamheter med höga krav på kvalitet, dokumentation och spårbarhet
Som person
Du är analytisk, strukturerad och lösningsorienterad med ett starkt tekniskt intresse. Du ser hur komponenter, gränssnitt och delsystem samverkar i den kompletta lösningen. Du arbetar noggrant, tar ansvar för dina leveranser och trivs med att samarbeta över teknikområden.
Eftersom verksamheten befinner sig i en uppbyggnadsfas behöver du uppskatta en dynamisk miljö där arbetssätt och processer utvecklas löpande. Du delar gärna med dig av din kunskap och bidrar aktivt till teamets utveckling.

As a Project Engineer – Electrical & Automation, you will take technical responsibility for electrical and automation solutions in assigned customer projects. Proven ability to independently design automation cabinets and motor control systems or other low voltage cabinets using Elprocad or similar electrical CAD tools. Experience working with redundant and high‑availability solutions (e.g. S2, R1, R2 concepts). Good knowledge of applicable standards and regulations such as the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), IEC 61439, IEC 61000‑6‑2 / IEC 61000‑6‑4, and CE certification. Strong proficiency in technical English, both written and spoken; Swedish language skills are considered a strong advantage. A structured, communicative, and collaborative mindset, with the ability to take responsibility and lead technical work within projects.
