As an AI Architect, you take a leading role in shaping how AI is designed, built, and scaled in our customer environments. This role goes beyond choosing models or tools – it’s about defining end-to-end AI architectures that connect data, models, platforms, and business processes into coherent, production-ready solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, AI engineers, and platform teams to translate goals into sustainable AI architectures. You define the architectural vision, patterns, and guardrails that ensure AI solutions are secure, scalable, observable, and maintainable over time. At the same time, you stay close to the hands-on reality: guiding teams, reviewing designs, and helping solve complex challenges related to LLM applications, MLOps, data flows, and cloud platforms. In this role, you balance strategic thinking with practical execution – ensuring that AI is not just innovative, but truly usable and valuable in everyday operations. What we’re looking for We are now looking for an experienced AI Architect to join our Data & AI community. In this role, you combine architectural leadership with deep understanding of modern AI engineering and platforms. You’ll work as part of our Data & AI community, alongside data scientists, data engineers, and data architects – but your focus will be on true AI engineering: making models work in production, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.  What you’ll do * Design and implement end-to-end AI solutions, from prototyping to production deployment. * Build and optimize LLM-powered applications and agentic systems integrated into real business processes and systems. * Collaborate with data scientists to turn models into robust, scalable products. * Apply MLOps practices to ensure reproducibility, monitoring, and continuous improvement. * Work with modern cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and open-source AI frameworks. * Stay curious about the fast-evolving AI landscape, and bring that insight into client projects. What we’re looking for We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer who has built real AI solutions – beyond using APIs or experimenting with models. We hope you recognize yourself in most of these: * 2+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or data science, with a solid understanding of key ML concepts such as classification, regression, NLP, and generative AI. * Experience in building production-grade LLM and agentic applications, incl. evaluation, monitoring, and scaling. * Knowledge of core LLM concepts e.g. tokenization, RAG, CoT, reasoning models, memory, fine-tuning, tool use, and self-correction. * Hands-on experience with MLOps, CI/CD, containers, and cloud environments. * Ability to design and maintain data pipelines, ensuring model reliability and performance in production. * Curiosity and drive to stay ahead of developments in AI and apply them responsibly. * Excellent communication and consulting skills — able to guide stakeholders, create understanding, and inspire confidence around AI capabilities. * Fluent in Finnish and English.
