You will be required to abide by all Company and Federal (OSHA) requirements for forklift operator certification for double reach and stand-up reach forklift trucks.  What You’ll Be Doing On A Daily Basis: * Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts safely throughout the distribution center. * Load, unload, move, and stage products and materials as needed. * Retrieve and place inventory in designated warehouse locations, including high-rack storage areas. * Accurately transport products to support order fulfillment and shipping operations. * Perform routine inventory movements while maintaining product quality and organization. * Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns. * Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operating guidelines. * Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization activities. * Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area. * Work closely with team members to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. * Safely maneuver equipment in tight warehouse spaces while maintaining awareness of surrounding personnel and inventory. * Utilize experience and confidence operating forklifts at elevated heights to accurately store and retrieve products from warehouse racking systems. What You’ll Bring to the Table:  * Inform and update management of shortages of stock needed for gravity feed conveyors. * Maintains inventories of finished graduation apparel by color, size, and material. * Responsible for correctly identifying and placing newly manufactured and returned items into proper storage areas. * Responsible for stocking gravity feed conveyors. * Physical strength and dexterity to perform essential functions. * Operate a personal computer and related software. Postdoctoral Research Fellow in advanced STEM and EELS of exsolution materials

About the position​ Position as Postdoctoral Research Fellow ​is available at the Department of Physics/Centre for Materials Science and Nanotechnology.  Starting date no later than October 1, 2026. The appointment is a full-time position and is for a period of four years, 25 % of which is dedicated to teaching activities. No one can be appointed for more than one Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Oslo. Postdoctoral fellows who are appointed for a period of four years are expected to acquire basic pedagogical competency during their fellowship period within the duty component of 25 %. Project description and work tasks​ The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will broadly address exsolution of metal nanoparticles from oxide materials, which show great promise as electrocatalyst for energy conversion technologies. The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will design and characterize materials to elucidate the fundamentals of the exsolution process, including the role of point defects and their interactions, extended defects, strain and more. The primary technique will be scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) and electron energy-loss spectroscopy (EELS), using a newly installed state-of-the-art JEOL Mono ARM instrument. The research activities will also include the use of complimentary macroscopic techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS at synchrotron beam-line facilities. The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be part of a team of experienced researchers working on related themes within the sections Semiconductor Physics and Quantum Technologies, and Electrochemistry, at the Centre for Materials Science and Nanotechnology (SMN). The main purpose of a postdoctoral fellowship is to provide the candidates with enhanced skills to pursue a scientific top position within or beyond academia. Previous experience with writing custom code for data analysis, data acquisition, or simulation of experiments is a requirement. A good track record in cross-disciplinary research and collaboration will be positively evaluated, in particular if the candidate has shown an ability to combine experiments with theory/modeling. Good communication skills are a prerequisite. About the position​ We invite applications for position as PhD Research Fellow in Fluid Mechanics available at Department of Mathematics. Preferred starting date as soon as possible. The fellowship period is three years. No one can be appointed for more than one PhD Research Fellowship period at the University of Oslo. The place of work is Department of Mathematics at Blindern Campus, Oslo. The position is associate with the newly established Norwegian Maritime AI Centre. Here you will work together with other PhD candidates and researchers, as well as world leading industry partners. The candidate will be affiliated with the Mechanics Section (Section 1). The section engages in theoretical, experimental and numerical fluid mechanics. This includes technology for the green transition, marine hydrodynamics, hydrodynamic waves, and continuum mechanics. This project focuses on detecting underwater acoustics using AI methodologies. Additionally, CFD simulations combined with physics-informed machine learning will also be examined. Several research and industrial partners are a part of this project. The ideal candidate would combine strong computational skills with domain knowledge in either acoustics or fluid mechanics, plus demonstrated ability to apply AI/ML methods to physical problems.
