WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR * Minimum 5+ years of experience in data and BI, with proven expertise in building data platforms using Fabric (2+ years), Azure Synapse Analytics (5+ years) and / or Azure Databricks (5+ years) as well as creating Power BI reports (5+ years). (advantage with Microsoft Certifications: DP-203, DP-600, DP-700, DP-750) * Strong proficiency in DAX, M-Code, and data modelling following Kimball principles (advantage with Microsoft Certification: PL-300). * Strong proficiency in Python, and/or SQL. * Knowledge of Azure Infrastructure (advantage with Microsoft Certification: AZ-305). * Knowledge of Azure DevOps (advantage with Microsoft Certification: AZ-400). * Exposure to Azure IaC (e.g. Terraform, Bicep) is considered a plus. * Strong analytical thinking and structured, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. * Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a high level of customer orientation and service mindset.  WHAT YOU BRING * Architect, build, and optimize modern data platform solutions based on Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, and/or Azure Databricks, with a focus on Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Review. * Design robust semantic BI models through performant star-schema designs, high-quality DAX calculations, clean-coding standards, and clear tenant governance. * Collaborate closely with the sales team to present architecture concepts, solution scenarios, and demos to clients and win new projects. * Represent Evora (Connect) as a thought leader by conducting workshops, publishing expert content, speaking at conferences, and actively shaping the data and analytics community. * Understand Microsoft partner offerings (Solution Partner status, specializations, incentives, etc.). WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR * Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps administrator role, driving cloud transformation, automation, and operational excellence across teams.  * At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Backup & Restore, and other core infrastructure components.  * Ideally, 3 years of experience in operating physical servers in data center environments.  * Solid experience in supporting and troubleshooting complex Azure solutions.  * Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools such as Terraform is an advantage.  * Sound understanding of open source internet applications and their technologies.  * Possession of relevant Microsoft certifications such as:  * Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate  * Solution-oriented approach to problem-solving  * Willingness to obtain certification in the field of technologies used.  * Modern, DevOps-like way of working.  * Readiness for on-call duty and assignments outside normal working hours.  * Close collaboration with Swiss colleagues.
