Flex Power Modules, a business line of Flex, is a leading design and solution provider of scalable DC/DC power converters primarily serving the AI & data processing & communication markets. Offering a wide range of both isolated and non-isolated solutions, its digitally enabled DC/DC converters include PMBus compatibility supported by the powerful Flex Power Designer. We are hiring a Experienced Electronic Hardware Engineer for DC/DC product development, that will be in charge of electronic design for developing new products.
You will work in product development projects together with a project manager, electronic design engineers, mechanic-, software- and simulation engineers
Leading the work in electronic design, thermal & magnetic design, evaluation & verification of our products;
Collecting and analyzing data from global hyper-scalers and partners to influence roadmaps and drive the development of next generation products
Technical discussions with our customers with aim to find technical solutions align requirements and verification plans
Holding up the pre-development according to technology and product roadmap
Contributing with colleagues from the engineering department on product feasibility
Academic degree in electrical engineering - or similar
Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills
Knowledge in thermal- & magnetic design is an advantage
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Edge technology within DC-DC converters
High engineering competence in the team

We are hiring a Electronic Hardware Engineer , that will be working in our System Infrastructure Team in tight collaboration with our product development teams to develop test boards and test systems to support verification and qualification of our products. What a typical day looks like: You will work in a System Infrastructure team, developing our infrastructure in terms of test boards and test systems Main interface is our product development teams and you will be working with identifying requirements, designing and implementation of test systems ; Collaborating with colleagues from the engineering departments on system feasibility The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Bachelors academic degree in electrical engineering - or similar ; Work experience in a related field is a plus; Experience in power electronics and measurement techniques up to 800V Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and communication/collaboration skills as well as practical hands on experience Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Job Summary Flex Power Modules is looking for a passionate and experienced PCB Design Engineer to join our R&D team. In this role you will be at the forefront of developing next-generation power solutions for the Internet & Cloud infrastructure and AI – focusing on advanced DC/DC conversion and power electronics. This is a unique opportunity for someone with deep technical knowledge in PCB Design for power electronics who wants to work hands-on with cutting-edge technologies and global hyper-scalers. You will be part of our so-called support team, which takes on assignments from the four design teams that we currently have on site in Kalmar. You will be introduced to the work by our senior PCB developer and will after that work in our so- called support team which takes on tasks from our four product design teams. We follow a SCRUM similar way of working with planning once a month and follow-ups a couple of times per week. The PCB development work is an iterative process where the PCB designer works closely together with the team’s simulation engineers who will perform FEM simulations – both electronic and mechanical – on your design What a typical day looks like: You will do PCB Design for new power module products. PCB Design of testboards. Update and evaluation of design rules. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: B.Sc or M.Sc in electronics or relevant working experience. This is a unique opportunity for someone with deep technical knowledge in power and electronics who wants to work hands-on with cutting-edge technologies and global hyper-scalers. What a typical day looks like: You will work closely with our CTO in a dedicated research team; Lead and Shape advanced research projects for future power modules; Collect and analyze data from global hyper-scalers and partners to influence roadmaps and drive the development of next generation products; Use your expertise to understand and select the right topologies and contribute with practical lab, simulations and filed experience; You will also have the opportunity to contribute to publications, white papers, and patents in the field. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: M.Sc. (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on Power Electronics; PhD in Electrical Engineering preferrable. Documented Experience in Electrical development in Power Electronics; Strong understanding of various topologies including resonant and hard-switched solutions; Experience in 400/800V DC design; Basic understanding of Software/Firmware; Basic knowledge of PMBus and I2C protocols; Skilled in circuit simulations; Experience in conceptual product development; Good understanding of magnetic field theory related to transformer/inductor design; Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
