Snowmobile Guide in Kiruna
Do you love the outdoors, enjoy meeting people from around the world, and know your way around a snowmobile? We're looking for a guide to lead our snowmobile tours in Kiruna—both during the day and in the evening under the Northern Lights.
About the Role
As a Snowmobile Guide, you'll be responsible for creating safe, memorable, and enjoyable experiences for our guests while exploring the Arctic wilderness.
Your Responsibilities
Lead daytime and evening snowmobile tours
Welcome guests and provide safety briefings and driving instructions
Ensure guests feel comfortable, safe, and well looked after throughout the tour
Guide groups through Arctic landscapes while adapting to changing weather and trail conditions
Assist guests with operating snowmobiles and provide support when needed
Perform basic maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of snowmobiles and equipment
Help prepare routes, equipment, and tours for daily operations
Take a proactive approach to solving problems and maintaining high safety standards
Represent the company professionally and help create exceptional guest experiences

What We're Looking For
A valid snowmobile driver's license and experience operating snowmobiles safely
A valid driver's license and confidence driving in winter conditions
Strong English communication skills; additional languages are a plus
A friendly, responsible, and service-minded attitude
Comfort working outdoors in Arctic weather conditions
Basic mechanical and technical skills for routine maintenance and troubleshooting
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and strong reliability
Previous guiding experience is an advantage but not required

As a guide, you will be responsible for leading guests on tours and activities, showcasing the stunning natural surroundings and attractions in the Kiruna area. You will provide informative and engaging experiences, ensuring our guests have an unforgettable time. Key Responsibilities: Lead guests on guided tours and activities Share knowledge about the local area, its natural features, and cultural history Ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests during tours Provide excellent customer service and answer guests' questions Assist with other tasks as needed Requirements: Must speak, read, and write English Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks A team player willing to help with various tasks Snowmobile license is preferable but not necessary Accommodation: Staff accommodation is available. Tillsammans med våra gäster kör vi snöskoter till vår off-grid camp vid en mycket naturskön plats, just intill en del av Torneälven som aldrig fryser. Vi korsar älven med gummibåt och väl framme finns en samisk torvkåta, vedeldade stugor, bastu och grillkåta. Under klara vinterkvällar är chanserna stora att få uppleva miljontals stjärnor och norrsken – det är en arbetsplats du aldrig glömmer. På campet blir dina arbetsuppgifter: Välkomna gäster från världens alla hörn Visa och instruera allt från vedhuggning till snöskovandring, skidåkning, pimpling och isvaksbad (du behöver inte delta i alla aktiviteter) Servera mat med lokala råvaror Berätta spännande historier från nu och förr i Lappland - och bygga en trevlig atmosfär för människor som får uppleva något de länge drömt om. Ta hand om stugor och städ Våra typiska gäster är äventyrliga 20-30 åringar med stämningen på topp. De är engagerade och älskar en pratstund med dig och kollegorna. Vi guidar såväl stora som små grupper och dagarnas intensitet varierar. Du blir, tillsammans med teamet, en viktig del av upplevelsen. About the Role – Wilderness Guide in Jukkasjärvi As a Wilderness Guide at ICEHOTEL, nature is your workplace. You will lead guests on a variety of outdoor activities and adventures, with a strong focus on safety, sustainability, and personal service. Our activity portfolio includes snowmobile tours, ice fishing, and cross country skiing during winter, as well as rafting, canoeing, and hiking during the summer season. You will create inspiring, safe, and educational experiences for our guests, while ensuring they feel welcome, well cared for, and confident throughout their adventure. As a guide, you play an important role in bringing ICEHOTEL’s story to life in the Arctic wilderness.
