Adaptyv is building an automated lab that lets AI agents run biology experiments.
We're entering the era of agentic science where AI models can now design novel proteins, propose hypotheses, and iterate on
experimental results. But they can't run the experiments themselves - that's still a manual, months-long process. We're building
the infrastructure that gives AI agents access to the physical world.
We are one of the fastest growing biotech companies, trusted by leading biopharmas, frontier AI labs, and the techbio companies
pushing the field forward. This is a rare chance to help advance some of the most important work happening in biotech today.
Our automated lab is powered by a deep software + hardware stack: lab instruments worth millions of USD reverse-engineered into
API-controllable hardware, dozens of devices orchestrated through complex workflows, full observability on everything that happens
in the lab, processing pipelines for messy physical-world data, and AI systems that troubleshoot production results and accelerate
assay development.
We’re growing rapidly and are hiring for talented people to scale and support the massive demand for AI-driven wet lab
experimentation.
This is an internship for an exceptional student or early-career builder — your shot to do the most serious work of your life so
far, on a small team where interns own real problems.
Building an automated lab throws off an endless stream of problems, and they don't respect job titles. One week it's a gnarly data
pipeline, the next a misbehaving instrument, a model that needs evaluating, or a supplier bottleneck blocking production. We'll
point you at the ones that fit you, give you a senior person to learn from, and expect you to make a real dent. The goal is
simple: create obvious, measurable value. Do that, and this doesn't have to end as an internship — if you're good, you stay.
Depending on where you're strongest and where we need you, any of:
You'll go deep on one or two of these — not all. We care that you're excited the list is this wide and that you learn new domains

SwissBorg is building the future of crypto wealth management—making investing more accessible, transparent and intuitive for everyone. At the core of our platform is the Meta-Exchange (MEX), a smart routing engine that connects multiple exchanges and liquidity sources to deliver optimal execution in a single, seamless app. We're Swiss-engineered, regulated, and trusted by nearly one million users managing over $1B in crypto assets. But beyond the numbers, what drives us is the people behind every wallet—and a commitment to continuously improving how they experience and interact with crypto. Crypto is one of the fastest-moving industries to build in, and SwissBorg is right at the heart of it — helping hundreds of thousands of people grow and manage their wealth through a regulated, trusted platform. As our Paralegal Intern, you'll work closely with our Legal team, gaining first-hand experience of how a MiCA-regulated crypto business operates while playing a meaningful role in supporting the team's day-to-day work. We're ideally looking for someone with a paralegal background. You don't need to have completed a full law degree, but you should have a solid understanding of legal fundamentals and be nearing the end of your studies. If you don't come from a legal background, we'd still love to hear from you if you have strong administrative experience, enjoy learning new things, and are excited to develop your legal knowledge on the job. Please note: This is an onsite position and you must be based in or around Lausanne.

We’re growing rapidly and are hiring for talented people to scale and support the massive demand for AI-driven wet lab experimentation. ABOUT THE ROLE Adaptyv is growing fast. We are significantly expanding our lab this year, onboarding more and more customers every week, and building the systems needed to keep the company running smoothly as we scale. We are looking for a Business Operations Intern or Working Student to join our operations team in Lausanne. This is a hands-on generalist role where you will work directly with the founders and operations team on practical projects across the company. This role requires high agency and an entrepreneurial mindset. You should be comfortable switching between different types of work and taking ownership. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Use AI tools to improve workflows that are still too manual, messy, or slow * Help onboard new customers to our platform * Support finance administration * Coordinate with suppliers and service providers * Assist with lab expansion logistics related to our new lab in Lausanne * Support events, customer visits, and internal company coordination * Build lightweight tools and automations using Claude Code, Python, Notion, no-code tools, or whatever gets the job done WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program. A background in biology is not a hard requirement. If you're coming from a different field, a genuine interest in the life sciences is important to us. * Entrepreneurial and self-directed. You spot problems before anyone asks and take action * Strong with AI tools, especially Claude Code or Codex. You use them to build real workflows, not just draft emails * Hands-on, organized, and reliable. You follow through, keep things tidy, and don't let things fall through the cracks * You thrive in a dynamic role where priorities can change quickly, and you are comfortable jumping between projects, responsibilities, and urgent operational needs DETAILS * Location: Lausanne, Switzerland (on-site) * Commitment: Minimum 3 months, minimum 16 hours per week (Working Student), or Full Time (Internship) * Start Date: ASAP Application deadline We are reviewing applicants on a rolling basis.
ABOUT US Harmattan AI is a next-generation defense prime building autonomous and scalable defense systems. Following the close of a $200M Series B, valuing the company at $1.4 billion, we are expanding our teams and capabilities to deliver mission-critical systems to allied forces. Our work is guided by clear values: building technologies with real-world impact, pursuing excellence in everything we do, setting ambitious goals, and taking on the hardest technical challenges. We operate in a demanding environment where rigor, ownership, and execution are expected. ABOUT THE ROLE To train highly robust perception systems, we need aerial imagery spanning a massive variety of conditions. You will engineer an advanced Generative AI pipeline capable of completely transforming the context of existing datasets; shifting time-of-day (day to night), changing seasons (summer to winter), or altering entire biomes and weather systems; while perfectly preserving small, critical target objects like drones. * Refine the Generative Architecture: Take ownership of a sophisticated multi-pass diffusion pipeline (structural background replacement + lighting/atmospheric glazing) to seamlessly adapt scene contexts while maximizing physical realism. * Solve Edge Cases: Improve custom masking and high-res depth-patching algorithms (e.g., histogram matching, seamless blending) to anchor small objects in 3D space, eliminating generative artifacts and "sticker" effects. * Scale & Validate: Generate large-scale augmented datasets and rigorously quantify their impact on downstream model performance. Design experiments to measure how the inclusion and varying ratios of this synthetic data directly improve the accuracy, recall, and robustness of object detectors (e.g., YOLO) when tested against real-world edge cases. REQUIREMENTS * Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Machine Learning. * Deep Learning: Strong understanding of CNN architectures, object detection frameworks, and modern loss functions, as well as the tracking world and its problematics. * Software Engineering: Proficiency in Python (PyTorch/TensorFlow) and comfortable working in C++. * Linux/Embedded: Experience working in a Linux environment; familiarity with Git is a plus. * Problem Solving: A rigorous approach to debugging and an "engineering first" mindset, valuing performance over theoretical complexity. * Language: Fluency in English; French is a plus. BONUS * Experience with NVIDIA Jetson platforms and hardware-accelerated inference. * FPV pilot experience or hobbyist interest in UAVs. * Previous experience with synthetic data generation (e.g., NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Gazebo). We look forward to hearing how you can help shape the future of autonomous defense systems at Harmattan AI.
