Theodo is an engineering & design consultancy with offices in Paris, London, New York, Casablanca and Cape Town. We build high-quality digital products for clients across industries, and we are increasingly working with enterprise organisations on complex, high-impact tech modernisation programmes - including AI-powered code modernisation.
We run lean internally: we care about process, continuous improvement, and doing things properly. Our founders have written books on the best practice for using lean to scale agile in large organisations.
The Opportunity
We're hiring a Associate Product Manager to take ownership of complex client projects and programmes end-to-end. You'll be the person clients trust to tell them hard truths, protect scope, and deliver - while the client principal focuses on account growth. This is a high-impact role at the heart of how we deliver, and a key part of how we're evolving our delivery model as we scale.
The role
Negotiate and manage product scope to deliver maximum value on fixed-price and time/materials engagements
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding product owner decisions on trade-offs and priorities
Manage the flow of requirements from client to team, maintaining a healthy backlog and driving visual management practices
Own the delivery plan; producing, maintaining, and communicating it throughout the engagement
Run agile ceremonies and solve day-to-day delivery problems before they escalate
Monitor effort, forecast accurately, and ensure delivery operates within contract terms
Build long-term client relationships, providing strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and owning RAID management
Mentor junior delivery managers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business
What We're Looking For
You're a seasoned delivery professional who knows when to push back and when to flex. You build trust quickly with senior stakeholders by proactively communicating on the delivery plan, relating it back to business needs and providing sound judgement. You spot the risks, challenge broken processes, and leave projects in better shape than you found them.
Trusted by clients at C-suite and senior stakeholder level - able to have difficult conversations and maintain the relationship
Trusted by on the ground delivery teams - able to have detailed conversations about technology and product with the experts on your team
Preventative rather than reactive - you identify risk early and act before it becomes a problem
Rigorous about delivery metrics and able to use them to justify commercial decisions
Genuinely interested in lean delivery principles and willing to keep learning
Humble and coachable - you take feedback and bring that same openness to your team
A multiplier: you improve delivery maturity on every project you touch, and bring things back to the wider team
Required Skills & Experience
Around 2-4 years of delivery management experience on complex digital or technology projects
Proven track record managing both fixed-price and time/materials engagements
Experience managing senior client stakeholders and steering committees
Demonstrable examples of scope negotiation and risk management on large or high-stakes projects
Experience running agile ceremonies and holding teams to a high standard of delivery
Comfortable using delivery data to drive commercial decision
What We Offer
25 Days annual leave
Learning and Development support throughout your career at Theodo
Private Health Insurance via Vitality
3 week work from anywhere policy
Equipment budget for your tech set up
Company pension

We are committed to Processing your Personal Data fairly and lawfully, and being open and transparent about such Processing. For further information on how we process your data, please see the privacy notice for applicants here * As at 31 March 2026 The Team This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the largest alternative asset managers. Technology is central to Man's business strategy, and we are constantly evolving to stay ahead. Our culture embraces change and innovation, with engineering at the heart of our operating platform. We are seeking an Associate Engineer to join our Finance & People Technology team. Reporting into the Finance & People Technology Lead, you'll join the team as an associate cross-platform engineer supporting the day-to-day engineering, operation, and continual improvement of the SaaS estate that underpins both the Finance and People/HR domains. Workday Enterprise Management Cloud sits at the core of both estates — but it's fundamentally one platform among many. Our ecosystem spans a broad set of best-in-class SaaS tools, including Greenhouse (talent acquisition), CultureAmp (employee experience), Kyriba (treasury), FloQast (financial close), and Workato (integration & automation), all connected through integrations into upstream and downstream systems. You'll work fluidly across this full footprint and the wider tech ecosystem around it - not as a single-product specialist, but as a versatile engineer who can pick up any system, understand how data flows between them, and improve the whole. Role Responsibilities * Configure, maintain & troubleshoot the platforms across Finance and People — Workday at the core, plus Greenhouse, CultureAmp, Kyriba, FloQast, and others * Own a share of the BAU & support rota across the full estate — resolving tickets, user queries, and small enhancements * Build, support & improve integrations between platforms — much of it orchestrated through Workato and other middleware — ensuring clean, reliable data flow * Monitor, triage & resolve integration errors, applying durable root-cause fixes over workarounds * Deliver process & config improvements — refining controls, reducing manual steps, tightening documentation * Use AI to engineer better and faster — applying Claude Code, agentic tooling, and Man Group's in-house AI to automate, prototype, and troubleshoot. A core expectation, not a side project * Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, maintainability, and performance * Maintain rigorous change-control & audit documentation Key Competencies Required * Some professional working experience — internship, placement year, grad scheme, or 1–2 years in a tech, engineering, BA, HRIS, or finance-systems role. This is not an entry-level role. * Exposure to enterprise SaaS platforms. Experience with Workday, Greenhouse, Workato, Kyriba, CultureAmp or FloQast is a plus — but none is a prerequisite. We care more about how fast you learn new systems than your existing tool list. * Comfort working across multiple SaaS platforms at once, picking up new systems quickly — this multi-platform fluency is the heart of the role * Aptitude for hands-on system configuration and change-control discipline * Foundational understanding of integrations (APIs, file-based interfaces, middleware/iPaaS like Workato) and how data flows between systems * A track record of building simple "vibe-coded" automations/apps — plus fluency with (or eagerness to master) agentic AI coding tools like Claude Code * Genuine enthusiasm for AI as an everyday engineering tool — we expect you to reach for Claude Code and our in-house AI instinctively * A curious, builder mindset — prototype, automate, and ask "why" before "how" * Methodical approach to BAU support & troubleshooting — root-cause fixes over workarounds * Strong written & verbal communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders Advantageous but not required * Experience with Workday, Greenhouse, Workato, Kyriba, CultureAmp or FloQast (none is a prerequisite — we care more about how fast you learn new systems than your existing tool list) Inclusion, Work-Life Balance and Benefits at Man Group You'll thrive in our working environment that champions equality of opportunity. Your unique perspective will contribute to our success, joining a workplace where inclusion is fundamental and deeply embedded in our culture and values. Through our external and internal initiatives, partnerships and programmes, you'll find opportunities to grow, develop your talents, and help foster an inclusive environment for all across our firm and industry. Learn more at www.man.com/diversity. You'll have opportunities to make a difference through our charitable and global initiatives, while advancing your career through professional development, and with flexible working arrangements available too. Like all our people, you'll receive two annual 'Mankind' days of paid leave for community volunteering. Our comprehensive benefits package includes competitive holiday entitlements, pension/401k, life and long-term disability coverage, group sick pay, enhanced parental leave and long-service leave. Depending on your location, you may also enjoy additional benefits such as private medical coverage, discounted gym membership options and pet insurance.
