London 4 days/week in office 9 Month Fixed-Term Contract * Are you a senior analyst who thinks strategically about data and can influence how an organisation uses it to make decisions? * Are you someone who can step into an established portfolio of work at pace and set the bar for how we manage data quality, governance and insight? * If you've operated at Principal or Lead Analyst level in fintech or a regulated, data-heavy industry, and you're energised by moving between hands-on analysis to acting as a strategic partner to the business, this could be the role. Who We Are Modulr is the payments automation platform that streamlines money movement with accuracy, control and reliability – built to scale. We process more than 200m transactions and over £180bn in payment value on an annualised basis, and we're trusted by over 6,000 businesses from fast-growing SMEs to global enterprises. We automate how money moves into and out of a business – payroll, supplier payments, spend management and payment collection – through a single platform, connected to the accounting and payroll systems finance teams already use and underpinned by principal memberships of Visa and Mastercard and direct access to central bank infrastructure. As a regulated payments provider with over a decade of experience, we're the platform finance teams trust to run mission-critical operations. What You'll Do Data Analysis & Strategic Insight * Lead the synthesis of complex, multi-source data to drive organisation-wide insight and shape high-level strategic decision-making. Stakeholder Leadership & Communication * Act as a trusted voice and influencer across the business, engaging stakeholders directly to shape organisational data strategy and decision-making. Data Quality & Standards * Set and champion organisational standards for data modelling, quality assurance, validation, and enrichment — and develop best practice frameworks that others follow. Data Visualisation & Insight Communication * Set the standard for how we visualise and communicate data insights, leading the strategic direction of the practice across teams. Team Leadership & Mentoring * Mentor and develop analysts on the team, building capability and raising the quality of analytical work during a period of leadership transition. Who You Are What you'll need * Proven experience operating at Principal, Lead or Senior Analyst level, ideally within fintech, payments or another regulated, data-intensive industry. * A track record of translating complex data into insight that genuinely shapes data-driven decisions across an organisation. * Deep expertise in data modelling, quality assurance and visualisation, with the confidence and judgement to set standards rather than just follow them. * Strong statistical and analytical grounding — you're comfortable moving between hands-on analysis and strategic oversight. * The ability to step into an established team and portfolio of work at short notice, with the confidence to keep initiatives moving without an extended ramp-up period. Nice to have * Experience mentoring and developing analytical teams, especially during periods of transition or change. * Exposure to high-stakes, high-visibility data challenges in a fast-growing, regulated fintech or financial services business. ModInclusion At Modulr, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and fostering a culture where everyone can thrive. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. If you need any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know.
