Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe. Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life. Wolt is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our Promotions team and help build the systems that power how merchants grow through offers, discounts, and incentives on our platform. Promotions at Wolt and DoorDash play a critical role in driving growth for restaurants and brands, enabling them to attract customers, increase conversion, and optimize performance through targeted incentives. This team builds both the platform and user-facing tools that allow partners to create, manage, and measure promotions effectively. In this role, you’ll work across the stack to build scalable systems and intuitive product experiences, while contributing to complex, cross-functional initiatives that span multiple teams and domains. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING * Build and evolve end-to-end promotions systems, from backend services to user-facing tools used by merchants and internal teams. * Design and implement scalable backend services, working with technologies such as Kotlin and Python and Go. * Develop high-quality web applications using React, focused on usability and performance. * Take ownership of large, cross-team initiatives, driving them from ideation through planning, alignment, and delivery. * Work closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to shape solutions and ensure successful outcomes. * Operate effectively in ambiguous environments, bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to complex problem spaces. * Contribute to improving engineering practices, tooling, and development workflows across the team * You’ll have strong ownership, work closely with cross-functional teams across Europe and the US, and be part of a diverse and international team that values collaboration and continuous improvement * Daily usage of AI tools This position is based in London OUR HUMBLE EXPECTATIONS* We’re looking for someone who is both a strong hands-on engineer and a driver of alignment and execution. CORE REQUIREMENTS * Strong full-stack engineering experience, with a solid backend foundation. * Strong experience with React and building product-facing web applications. * Experience with Kotlin, Python and or Go in production environments is strongly preferred. * Proven ability to take ownership in ambiguous environments, driving initiatives from idea to delivery. * Experience leading cross-team projects, including planning, stakeholder alignment, and execution. * Strong communication skills, with the ability to gather feedback, handle differing perspectives, and align stakeholders. * Experience working with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Codex, Claude, agent-based workflows) to improve speed and quality. NICE TO HAVE * Experience with native iOS and/or Android development. WHAT WE OFFER At Wolt, this role gives you the opportunity to build products that are directly used by restaurants and brands to grow their business. Promotions are one of the most visible and impactful levers on the platform, and your work will shape how merchants attract customers, drive sales, and optimize their performance. You’ll work on a mix of backend systems and user-facing tools, owning features end-to-end and seeing your work quickly go live across multiple markets. This is a role where you can build, ship, and iterate fast, while still tackling meaningful challenges around scale, usability, and performance. We offer a strong sense of ownership and autonomy, where engineers are trusted to drive solutions, influence product decisions, and take ideas from concept to production. You’ll also be part of a diverse and supportive team, where collaboration, feedback, and continuous learning are part of how we work every day. Our compensation follows a total compensation model, combining a competitive base salary with DoorDash RSUs. Intelligence that works. Results that matter. Built to work everywhere and integrate with everything across every cloud for dynamic, personalized, and autonomous AI systems. We deliver quicker results, contextual knowledge, and solutions that impact customers and employees across the business. Our Vision: At Neo4j, we have always strived to help the world make sense of data. As business, society and knowledge become increasingly connected, our technology promotes innovation by helping organizations to find and understand data relationships. We created, drive and lead the graph database category, and we’re disrupting how organizations leverage their data to innovate and stay competitive. THE ROLE Neo4j is the leader in graph analytics, and our cloud platform is at the heart of powering data-driven innovation for thousands of users worldwide. We are on the lookout for versatile Full-Stack Engineers to help us design and build exceptional features that lower the bar for users to perform graph analytics. In this role, you will own the user-facing surface of those products. You'll help new users get to value quickly by reducing friction in their first workflows, and make our internal tooling effective enough that the rest of the team can support and operate the service confidently. You will work closely with our internal design system at neo4j.design, and collaborate across product, design, backend, and SRE to ship cohesive, end-to-end experiences. This is a mid-to-senior role at the intersection of product UX, graph analytics, and cloud data platforms. WHAT WE VALUE We’re looking for engineers with experience in both frontend and backend development. You should have experience designing APIs, implementing data persistence, and integrating with third-party services. Familiarity with automated testing approaches, from unit testing to full-stack integration tests, is important. A willingness to learn, grow, and tackle new challenges as part of a distributed and collaborative team is essential. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful features that enhance how users interact with Neo4j Aura graph analytics. You’ll work on everything from user-friendly interfaces to robust back-end systems, ensuring our solutions are scalable, reliable, and adaptable to diverse user needs. * Build and evolve the Aura Graph Analytics user experience inside the Neo4j Aura console. * Develop and maintain the in-app GUI for the Neo4j Graph Analytics App for Snowflake, an application that guides users through a multi-step workflow: selecting Snowflake data, projecting them as graphs, configuring and running algorithms, and writing back. * Design the graph-projection and algorithm-configuration UX for users who are not graph experts: clear workflow steps, sensible defaults, validation, and interactive previews of sampled graphs. * Improve the internal support tooling used to inspect the state of Aura Graph Analytics deployments and diagnose customer issues. * Use our shared design system (neo4j.design) so our products feel like one family. * Partner closely with product, design, backend, and SRE to ship cohesive end-to-end experiences across team boundaries. WHAT YOU'LL BRING * Experience building and shipping production-quality software. * Strong TypeScript / JavaScript skills and significant frontend experience in production codebases. * Solid experience with React and modern frontend tooling (such as Tailwind). * Comfort collaborating with designers in Figma (or similar tools) and translating designs into accessible, responsive UI. * A user-centric mindset and a genuine interest in product UX, not just shipping components. * Experience creating API services in Golang, Java or Python BONUS POINTS * Experience working with Spotify’s Backstage framework. * Familiarity with graph data, graph algorithms, or data-science workflows. * Experience with Python-based UI tooling such as Streamlit and AnyWidget. * Experience with Snowflake, Snowpark, and building UIs that run inside a Snowflake Native App. #LI-Hybrid Why Join Neo4j?
