Over 50% of Skyral are Engineering teams who have a shared desire to improve and achieve extraordinary things. We’re crafting technology for the future and fostering a problem-solving culture that embraces innovation through iteration and experimentation. We house a variety of disciplines, from Frontend and Backend engineers; Platform and Product; to more niche areas such as Model Engineering and Applied Science.
Our tech stack is always evolving, and whilst some parts of it are more ingrained and likely to be stable for a while, as we're a growing company we should expect this to change.
Modelling and Simulation is an exciting area to be working in at the moment. At Skyral we're at the forefront of the latest innovations in the Modelling and Simulation space and as such our Tech Stack is evolving to meet the opportunities and challenges that arise.
Frontend: Typescript (React & Node.js)
Backend: Go, Python and C++ for high performance computing
Infrastructure: We use Terraform to configure our infrastructure as code and our cloud ready technical strategy ensures we are infrastructure agnostic. We embrace and utilise containerisation (using Docker and Kubernetes).
Cloud: We use GCP to enable software development and host production systems.
CI/CD: We use Github Actions to provide CI across the business and we rely on a GitOps approach to deployment, using ArgoCD to deploy our applications to Kubernetes.
Streaming: Kafka
Databases: Postgresql, PostGIS, Redis
