From strengthening mission-critical capabilities across national security and intelligence, to working with frontier labs to provide robust AI safety red teaming and evaluation, we work at the frontier of high-stakes, high-impact missions. Because of the nature of the work we do with our Government clients, you may need to be eligible for UK Developed Vetting (DV) and willing to work on site with our clients from time to time.   ABOUT THE ROLE   As a Delivery Manager in our National Security and Safety team at Faculty, you will act as a pivotal commercial and delivery lead, driving high-stakes AI transformation for the UK’s most critical government partners. You will be a strategic architect, building deep networks of influence and solving complex challenges by bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI research and operational mission needs. With an entrepreneurial spirit, you will exceed ambitious growth targets while mentoring multidisciplinary teams to ensure every project delivers meaningful, long-term value in a fast-evolving national security landscape.   WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:   * Owning the end-to-end delivery of customer projects, from initial scoping to final implementation. * Collaborating with technical teams and government partners to design innovative AI solutions that solve their most pressing mission challenges. * Managing project development and ensuring a delivery approach that provides maximum value to the national security community. * Forming strong, trusting relationships with customers, internal data scientists, and technical partners to translate research into operational impact. * Developing and executing compelling proposals to grow our footprint and impact across the national security sector. * Advising clients on AI strategy and technical implementation, acting as a trusted partner and consultant in high-stakes environments. * Mentoring your peers and taking a proactive role in building robust processes and practices within the team.   WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:   * You bring a solid foundation in the National Security domain, with a passionate interest in how AI can transform high-stakes decision-making and public safety. * You possess experience in consultancy or service-based delivery, allowing you to manage complex project lifecycles and meet critical deadlines under pressure. * You take full responsibility for the successful delivery of your projects, from initial scoping to end-user adoption within government. * You are an exceptional communicator, with outstanding skills in managing senior stakeholders and translating complex concepts for non-technical audiences. * You are comfortable working with technical teams and have a proven track record of delivering technical projects, ideally in AI. * You are a practical problem-solver, identifying potential risks to national security missions and proactively implementing solutions.   THE INTERVIEW PROCESS   1. CoMind

At CoMind, we are developing a non-invasive neuromonitoring technology that will result in a new era of clinical brain monitoring. In joining us, you will be helping to create cutting-edge technologies that will improve how we diagnose and treat brain disorders, ultimately improving and saving the lives of patients across the world. THE ROLE: The Data Science team at CoMind develops the algorithms and machine learning systems that transform raw optical interference signals from CoMind One into continuous, clinically meaningful measurements of cerebral blood flow, intracranial pressure, and autoregulation. Working at the frontier of photonics, physiology, and applied ML, the team's work directly determines what CoMind One can measure, how accurately, and under what clinical conditions. As Principal Data Scientist, you will be the technical authority for CoMind's data science function, setting methodological direction for signal extraction and ML modelling, personally driving the most complex and highest-impact problems, and providing expert guidance across the team. This is a senior individual contributor role: you will not manage people directly, but your technical leadership will shape how the entire team approaches its most challenging problems. You will work closely with R&D, Clinical, and Software Engineering. At CoMind, all team members work at least 4 days per week from our new Kings Cross offices, plus a flexible work-from-home day. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Own the technical direction for signal processing and ML model development on CoMind One, defining approaches, architectures, and evaluation frameworks that set the standard for the team * Lead the development and validation of the most complex data science components, from novel algorithm design through to evidence generation for regulatory submissions * Act as the primary technical reviewer and expert resource across the data science team, setting the bar for methodological rigour, reproducibility, and scientific integrity * Drive the design and execution of data collection and labelling strategies with Clinical teams, including ground truth definition, dataset governance, and performance benchmarking * Contribute to CoMind's IP and publication strategy, authoring and reviewing technical papers, patent applications, and regulatory documents * Represent the data science function in cross-functional technical forums, architecture reviews, and external scientific and clinical engagements * Identify and introduce new methods, tools, and approaches that advance CoMind's signal extraction and ML capabilities * AI is fundamental to our culture. We partner with major pharma firms, academic research centres and MedTech start-ups to design and deliver solutions which address critical healthcare challenges, and help to democratise health for all.     ABOUT THE ROLE   As a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead high-impact AI projects and shape the technical direction of bespoke solutions. This role requires hands-on technical excellence combined with crucial team leadership. You will define data science approaches, design robust software architectures, mentor junior colleagues, and ensure delivery rigor across projects all while building deep client relationships and solidifying our reputation as a leader in practical, measurable AI.     WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:   * Leading project teams that deliver bespoke algorithms and high-stakes AI solutions to clients across the sector. * Conceiving the core data science approach and designing the associated robust software architecture for new engagements. * Mentoring a small number of data scientists and supporting the professional growth of technical team members on projects. * Partnering with commercial teams to build client relationships and shape project scope for technical feasibility. * Contributing to Faculty’s thought leadership and reputation through delivering courses, public speaking, or open-source projects. * Ensuring best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle to guarantee high-quality, impactful delivery.   WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:   * You possess senior experience in a professional data science position or a quantitative academic field. * You demonstrate strong programming skills, with the ability to be a fluent Python programmer, using core libraries (NumPy, Pandas) and a deep-learning framework (e.g., PyTorch). * You have a deep expertise in core data science paradigms (supervised/unsupervised, NLP, validation), demonstrating a proficiency across the standard data science toolkit, including the ability to develop new, innovative algorithms. * You bring a leadership mindset, focused on growing the technical capabilities of the team and nurturing a collaborative culture. * You exhibit commercial awareness, with experience in client-facing work and the ability to translate business problems into a rigorous mathematical framework. * You are skilled in project planning, assessing technical feasibility, estimating delivery timelines, and leading a team to deliver high-quality work on a strict schedule.   OUR INTERVIEW PROCESS   1.
