What we expect from you
Please note that this job does not require any specific previous work experience as training is provided and we are looking to
incorporate candidates across different levels of experience. However, we do require you to have a UK work permit. We also expect
candidates to have obtained a bachelors or masters degree, or to be working towards obtaining university qualification.

THE ROLE This is an opportunity to intern at a fast-growing company that’s influencing the future of travel. We're building a noise and automation platform used by thousands of Airbnb hosts and property managers around the world. Location: London, UK WHAT YOU'LL DO You will work alongside the entire Marketing team, learning and supporting across different functions, including: * Taking a hands-on role in social media, our blog, podcast, and website * Learning influencer marketing * Assisting with email marketing across marketing, product, and automated cycles * Supporting preparation for webinars and events, e.g. promotion and setup * Creating and updating sales assets for product releases * Using design tools to build ad creatives and design templates WHAT YOU BRING * Want to learn and develop new skills * Have a broad interest in marketing and its role in growing revenue * Are adaptable in fast-paced environments where requirements can change quickly * Take direction and feedback well, ask questions, but can also work on your own initiative * Have an interest in AI and experimenting with AI tools * Are confident talking to senior leadership

WHAT TO EXPECT? * Focus on lead generation within the UKI market * Gain in-depth knowledge of customers, industry, and Contentful’s solution offerings * Proactively engage with and reach out to new prospects * Lead generation activities, including strategic research on LinkedIn, among other hunting tools and outbound prospecting, calling, emailing, and social outreach * Collaborate with assigned Account Executives, handing off qualified prospects * Successfully reach pipeline targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis * Build relationships with key decision-makers across a number of industries WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL? * Minimum 6-9 months outbound BDR experience * Full written and oral fluency in English * College / University Degree educated * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Seeks to understand the customer’s needs, objectives and challenges * Ability to proactively qualify customer needs * Ability to understand the business opportunity, and to articulate it to the sales team, by understanding the prospect’s use case and requirements well and how Contentful fits into the customer’s goals * Ability to build rapport with prospects, colleagues and other stakeholders * Self starter, doesn’t wait for things to happen, but pro-actively takes action to move the conversation forward * Willingness to travel (up to 10%) * Ability to follow the set processes, update the relevant systems diligently, and make suggestions on improvements where required * Detail oriented and data driven * Technical understanding and keen interest for technology * Customer-first mindset, where you and company wins by helping our customers to be successful.
