The annual base salary range for this position is $70,500 - $82,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably

Title: Senior Associate, NOC Relations and Planning – Asia and Oceania The Team: The National Olympic and Paralympic Committee Services (NCS) Team’s aims is to engage, empower, and support 206 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) and 185 National Paralympic Committees (NPCs) in the preparation and planning of the most seamless, innovative, and engaging Games experience ever for their athletes, team officials, and delegation members. NCS is organized into two key workstreams: Relations & Planning and Services and Operations. These two workstreams create a trusted and impactful client-centered cross-functional team which delivers the opportunities, channels, and support required for NOCs and NPCs to successfully engage with LA28, and to prepare to bring their athletes and delegations to the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The NCS team is also charged with the creation and management of a range of critical programs and services in accordance with LA28, IOC (International Olympic Committee), and IPC (International Paralympic Committee) guidelines in the lead-up to and throughout the Games-time period including workshops, seminars, reporting, and operation centers. Position Summary: The NOC Relations and Planning Sr. Associate for Asia and Oceania will play a critical role within the LA28 NCS team, reporting directly to the NOC Relations and Planning Manager for Asia and Oceania, while supporting aspects of service level planning, client management, communications, and support for a portfolio of National Olympic Committees (NOCs). This role supports and leads the implementation of a robust engagement strategy that provides timely, transparent, and effective channels of communication between NOCs, and LA28. They will work to build a strong understanding of the requirements and needs of their assigned client group and support the representation of those needs across the organization in client planning activities. The NOC Relations and Planning Sr. Associate will regularly support the collaboration with, and alignment on, service level planning with a portfolio of LA28 functional areas (FAs), which may include Accreditation, Accommodations, Transport, Food & Beverage, Sports, Villages, and much more. Additionally, they will be appointed to coordinate and/or support core NCS projects and programs in the lead-up to and during the Games-time period. Key Responsibilities: NOC Relations: * Cultivate and maintain trusted, transparent, and authentic client relationships with 15-25 NOCs. * Track day-to-day client correspondence ensuring timely, transparent, and clear communications. * Lead the review and production of key documents, policies, and client informational resources, and support the distribution of those resources to clients in a timely, consistent and coordinated manner. * Lead client escalation pathway throughout the Games lifecycle, consolidating client issues/feedback and subsequent issue resolution. * Lead the coordination and delivery of highly impactful NOC visits including generation of post-visit follow-ups and reports. * Lead the delivery of all pre-Games readiness activities for NOCs including the NOC Chefs de Mission Seminar. * Support LA28 presence at meetings and seminars. NOC & NPC Planning: * Cultivate and maintain trusted, transparent, and authentic cross-functional relationships with 8-10 Functional Areas (FAs). * Lead NOC and LA28 FA discovery meetings, presentations, and planning sessions to capture key information and trends in NOC planning. * Monitor the athlete journey from touch-down to take-off, validating service levels and venue plans impacting the NOC delegation * Integrate with LA28 FAs as a trusted and valuable central resource of NOC specific information to support their planning. * Manage status tracking and reporting tools reflecting progress on NCS and LA28 FA milestones. * Implement strategies to mitigate identified gaps and meet the demands of NOC delegations. * Conduct critical reviews, edits and validations of publications from other FAs to ensure accuracy and compliance prior to their release and submission to NOCs and NPCs. Games-time Operations: * Perform a wide range of activities, including stress tests at the Village, setup and preparation of workspaces, coordination of team arrivals, delegation registration, and allocation, and nightshifts. * Support, execute, and oversee projects across functional areas, ensuring alignment with communicated timelines, deliverables, and expected outcomes. * Serve as a critical member of the Games-time event operations and support of the NCS Service Center. * Serve as a key point of contact for assigned NOCs during Games-time. * Effectively implement critical Games-time processes such as issue capture, resolution management, client communications. Support all other duties as assigned which may include tasks such as NOC move-in activities, distribution of NOC assets, daily reporting, Ceremonies support, critical situation support, Paralympic Games support, and more. Title: Managing Counsel, Ceremonies and Content Position Summary The Managing Counsel, Ceremonies and Content, will play a key role in developing and implementing legal strategies for non-competition events and content: especially, the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Torch Relays, Cultural Olympiad, Live Sites and Fan Experiences. Working alongside the rest of the legal team, this position will be responsible for designing frameworks for strategic partnerships, managing critical stakeholder relationships, implementing policies and processes to achieve organizational priorities, and negotiating a high volume and variety of agreements and licensing arrangements in support of LA28’s diverse array of live events, entertainment and cultural programming (e.g., talent agreements, IP licenses, venue/vendor agreements, marketing agreements, government and local organization cooperation agreements, releases, etc.). Further, and in close collaboration with LA28 business partners, this attorney will, among other things, recommend best practices for supporting key organizational mandates, curate language for external communications, and provide input on guidelines for third parties participating in LA28 events. This position will regularly correspond with sophisticated business executives, outside production companies and stakeholders (e.g., IOC, IPC, broadcasters, sponsors, venues, government entities, outside counsel, etc.). Significant drafting and deal-making experience is required, with evidence of self-directed responsibility in standing up new processes and projects highly desirable. SENIOR MANAGER, VENUE OPERATIONS - DOPING CONTROL The Senior Manager, Venue Operations - Doping Control will support the planning and Games-time execution of anti-doping operations for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Reporting to the Head of Doping Control, this role will be primarily responsible for leading a team of Venue Operations Associates who operate clusters of venues, overseeing the smooth execution of all Doping Control Stations and activities. The Senior Manager will also directly manage the crucial relationships with the Olympic and Paralympic Villages. A key component of this role involves spearheading resource development, designing/refining comprehensive training modules, operational playbooks, scenario-based drills, and standardized protocols. This ensures that the Doping Control Staff are fully equipped and empowered to navigate fast-paced environments and seamlessly execute all Doping Control activities. The role will collaborate cross-functionally with Games Delivery and Services/Logistics functions (e.g., Accreditation, Transportation, Medical, Workforce, Logistics, etc.), as well as external partners including Testing Agencies, National Anti-Doping Organizations (NADOs), and IFs. Venue Operations Leadership & Team Management * Serve as the primary operational lead for all Doping Control activities within the Olympic and Paralympic Villages, managing the unique logistical requirements. * Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Venue Operations Associates responsible for Doping Control activities across multiple venue clusters. * Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for the Venue Operations team to ensure consistent, high-quality execution of all procedures. * Oversee the development of policies, procedures, and operational documentation for Doping Control Station delivery. * Participate in readiness exercises and test event delivery to validate operational plans and identify areas for improvement. * Lead the planning and execution of the operational transition between the Olympic and Paralympic Games, ensuring continuity of service, efficient handover of resources, and appropriate staff adjustments. Doping Control Operations * Lead the development/refinement of Doping Control specific content to cover technical procedures for Doping Control Stations, such as venue setup, athlete notification and processing, sample collection protocols, chain of custody rules, documentation, and more. * Support the planning and delivery of doping control operations across all competition and training venues. * Spearhead the strategic design, development, or edits of operational resources for venue teams, including comprehensive training modules, operational playbooks, and standardized protocols to ensure consistent and excellent service delivery. * Manage communication processes for resolving operational issues and serve as a primary point of escalation for the venue teams. Cross-Functional Coordination * Collaborate with other functional areas to integrate doping control requirements into competition schedules and venue operations. * Assist in working across functions to ensure alignment of doping control services with accreditation, transport, workforce, and accommodation planning. * Assist in developing presentations, reports, and tracking documents related to anti-doping readiness and delivery. * Represent the Doping Control venue team in cross-functional planning meetings, ensuring the unique needs of the operations are addressed in all deliverables. Background and Requirements * A minimum of 6 years of experience working in relevant roles in the sports and/or event management industry, preferably in anti-doping operations. * Experience working on major Games delivery within a sport organization, local organizing committee, or at a multi-sport event. * Knowledge of the World Anti-Doping Code, International Standards (ISTI), and anti-doping operations for major international events is desired. * Strong understanding of the structure, governance, and culture of Olympic and Paralympic sport, including familiarity with National Anti-Doping Organizations and International Federations. * Ability to lead diverse teams with empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to equity and inclusion. * Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines. * Highly detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and follow-through. * Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating with a wide range of internal and external partners. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond quickly to operational needs. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint). * Self-starter with the ability to anticipate needs and proactively support team operations. * High level of integrity, discretion, and judgment; able to handle confidential information and pressure with professionalism.
