We at Components are now looking for an enthusiastic and driven Factory Supply Chain Specialist who values personal growth and is eager to continuously learn. In this role, you will be the key speaking partner towards our suppliers, collaborating with internal teams such as design, sales, production, services, and operational purchasing. You’ll play an essential part in driving and coordinating strategic sourcing activities, working closely with stakeholders to uncover cost-efficient and reliable solutions and setups. You’ll join a small, tight-knit, and growing team that thrives on mutual support, a fast-paced environment, and a positive atmosphere.
How you'll make an impact
To drive all SCM activities for the appointed portfolio of material. With the main focus on material availability, quality and cost.
Support the Factory Supply Chain Manager by streamlining daily operations and alleviating workload through proactive collaboration and efficient task management.
Define and implement local sourcing strategies in alignment with regional goals.
Develop and maintain the supply base, focusing on quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
Conduct supplier evaluations and drive improvement projects as needed.
Identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with category teams and quality specialists.
Establish and update agreements with major suppliers, including pricing and purchase terms, to meet business directives.

A degree in Engineering is preferred. Experience in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is a plus
Proficiency in MS tools like Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI, and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP is advantageous.
Good knowledge in Swedish and proficiency in English is required.

The Opportunity We are looking for a collaborative and relationship-oriented Supply Quality Engineer who excels at building strong partnerships and maintaining clear, effective communication with suppliers. This role requires solid expertise in high-voltage products, supported by a steady technical foundation and hands-on experience in quality assurance and prolem-solving within this field. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering, sustainability, and operational excel-lence. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with category teams, buyers, Q&OPEX, HSE, R&D, and suppliers to ensure world-class quality and compliance. How you’ll make an impact Support the Procurement HUB and Factory Team in maintaining a qualified supplier base and ensuring compliance with the Hitachi Energy Supplier Code of Conduct, including ethics, governance, and sustaina-bility requirements. Execute part qualifications (PPAP) according to defined standards, ensuring suppliers meet requirements and validating results together with the Quality Organization. Drive continuous improvement of PPAP standards by supporting Engineering and Product Care in develop-ing updated delivery and testing instructions. Perform supplier assessments and audits, ensuring timely and effective closure of non-conformances. Monitor supplier performance (OQD) and lead issue resolution through Supplier Non-Conformance Man-agement, including regular supplier engagement and visits. Take ownership of urgent supply issues and support claims handling in coordination with buyers when supplier-related root causes are identified. Your background Solid background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with experience in supplier quality management, including audits and assessments. Familiarity with supplier qualification processes and standards, particularly PPAP. Good understanding of procurement and supply chain operations in a manufacturing or industrial environ-ment. Knowledge of corporate governance, sustainability, and ethical compliance frameworks (e.g., Supplier Code of Conduct). Solid collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and lead supplier-related issue resolu-tion. Proven problem-solving capabilities in handling supplier non-conformances using structured methods (e.g., 8D). Experience in monitoring supplier performance using KPIs and driving performance improvements. Willingness to travel regularly (approx. 40%) within Sweden and Europe; Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt), SPC, P-FMEA knowledge, and fluency in Swedish and English are a plus. The Opportunity We are seeking a structured and people-oriented Continuous Improvement Leader (CIL), who will be responsible for the CIL process at Design in the HV Breakers factory. You will work closely with the coordinating CIL to deploy, implement, and anchor improvement activities across the design function, ensuring effective execution and long-term sustainability. The CIL serves as a catalyst for problem solving, standardization, and knowledge sharing.
