Möjligheten Som Project Engineer inom Station Layer & Cybersecurity kommer du att arbeta med tekniska lösningar inom SCADA/HMI, GWS, cybersäkerhet och IT/OT‑infrastruktur. Du kommer att ingå i ett sammansvetsat internationellt ingenjörsteam och ta ansvar för design, implementation och verifiering av kontroll- och övervakningslagret i stationen. Vi har kunder över hela världen, och rollen innebär därför resor till kundernas HVDC-stationer världen över, vilket ger dig möjligheten att utforska andra kulturer och se resultatet av ditt arbete i praktiken. As a Control and Protection Commissioning Engineer you will be part of the HVDC unit. You will get involved in the later stages of system testing at Hitachi Energy premises and lead commissioning activities of Control and Protection and SCADA at customer sites. You will be part of the hand-over and trial operations of HVDC links, with a direct interface with customers and opportunities to travel globally. How you’ll make an impact Organize and execute testing and commissioning activities, including test equipment management. Participate in technical discussions with clients and consultants. Ensure full understanding of scope and division of work. Communicate all changes to the Commissioning Manager. Ensure customer commitments are met according to contract. Support tender work related to commissioning scope. Analyze disturbances during commissioning and operation. Live Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity. Your background Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Experience in Control and Protection or SCADA from design or testing stages. Experience in AC substations or HVDC technology. Experience in commissioning work in plants of varying size and complexity. Knowledge of MACH, IEC61850, HVDC projects or IED relay programming is an advantage. Fluency in English. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously. You will be part of a team of talented engineers tasked with deploying and securing the next generation of control systems within HVDC. You will be responsible for integrating and implementing features aligning with customer- and market requirements. How you’ll make an impact Be part of a team for system, network, and cybersecurity design and implementations in HVDC projects, focus OT - HMI, SCADA, automation part. Building complete infrastructure of networks and systems to support operations and ensuring systems and networks contain defined levels of cybersecurity. Upon level of experience, mentoring junior associates and driving knowledge-sharing initiatives. Upon level of experience, actively contributing to identifying and capturing opportunities for improvement. Your background A university degree within a relevant technical area, preferably Computer science, Automation or other relevant education or experience. Experience in HMI (human machine interface) design and testing, Aveva platform, Micro Scada or similar. Experience in SCADA, automation design and testing, IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850 or similar along with scripting languages and automation technologies. Experience with databases and high-availability solutions, as well as network equipment as firewalls, switches, GPS clocks and redundant network designs and protocols. Good verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English and comfortable in customer discussions. Experience with Microsoft client- and server operating systems, AD and any security relevant systems is meritorious.
