About the Role You will join a development environment in advanced food processing and packaging, working in a scrum team where practical testing is central to how new filling solutions are developed. This is a broad, hands-on engineering role for you if you enjoy being close to the equipment, the test rigs and the real operating conditions rather than staying only in design tools and theory. You will act as the link between design and reality by testing concepts in practice, rebuilding and commissioning equipment, troubleshooting issues and giving clear feedback to development teams. Your input will help shape solutions that are functional, robust, serviceable and user-friendly. Job DescriptionYou will plan, prepare, rebuild and commission test equipment and test rigs for development activities. You will drive practical development and verification work for filling technologies and related equipment. You will execute physical tests, document results and turn observations into clear technical recommendations. You will define test methods, test setups and evaluation criteria that support efficient development work. You will troubleshoot equipment, machine functionality and test environments during ongoing development programs. You will work closely with development teams to turn concepts into practical and testable solutions. You will review mechanical designs and give constructive feedback on performance, maintainability, operator interaction, robustness and intended use. You will contribute to verification and validation planning and help ensure that development tests are carried out on time. You will support upgrades and investments in filling equipment and development test environments. RequirementsDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Mechatronics or a similar technical field. Strong practical hands-on engineering capability. Experience working with mechanical equipment, machinery development, testing or commissioning. Experience planning and executing physical tests and evaluations. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and mechanical designs. Structured way of documenting test results and technical conclusions. Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken. Nice to haveExperience from food processing, filling equipment, packaging machinery or related industries. Knowledge of filling technologies or experience related to filling liquid food products. Experience with mechanical design review and constructive design feedback. Experience with machine rebuilds, installations and commissioning. Understanding of verification and validation activities. Knowledge of hygienic design principles. Hands-on or operational experience with automation systems. Samarbeta med vår globala leverantörskedja i såväl Sverige som Europa och Asien. Leda tekniska konsulter och ansvara för helheten i mekanikprojekten. Vara högst delaktig i framtagning av snabba prototyper (rapid prototyping) och produktionstekniska frågor. Kvalifikationer Vi söker dig som har: Utbildning & Erfarenhet: Lägst kandidatexamen (BSc) i maskinteknik samt minst 10 års relevant arbetslivserfarenhet. Du har erfarenhet av mekanisk konstruktion av elektroniska eller kraftelektroniska produkter. Tekniska system: Djupgående kunskaper och erfarenhet av 3D CAD-system, specifikt SolidWorks, tillsammans med integrerade PDM- och PLM-system. Du har även kompetens på termodynamiska simuleringverktyg. Kraftelektronik & Elsäkerhet: Förståelse för högströmsteknik och kunskap om kraftelektroniska komponenter (t.ex. IGBT:er, kraftinduktorer och kondensatorer). Du har även god kännedom om elsäkerhetskrav och standarder (IEC och UL). Termisk & Mekanisk design: Kompetens inom teknik för värmehantering (luft- och vattenkylning) samt kunskap om design och testning för vibrationer och mekaniska påfrestningar. Testning & Prototyping: Erfarenhet av praktisk elektrisk, mekanisk och miljömässig testning. Du har även erfarenhet av allmän mekanisk design, materialkännedom och tillverkningsmetoder samt "Rapid prototyping" (att snabbt ta fram prototyper). Produktionssättning (NPI): Kompetens inom New Product Introduction, vilket innebär att introducera produkter i tillverkning, montering, testning och leverantörskedja. The Manufacturing Quality team is part of the Global Manufacturing department at Operations. You will be a part of a team consisting of 12 dedicated co-workers, all responsible for a certain contract manufacturer. Within the team there is different knowledge and areas of responsibility, but we all have the same goal: To guide and support our engineers and manufacturing partners to select and produce the best possible parts and products at a high and repeatable quality level. What will you do as Manufacturing Process Engineer? You will be working in the Manufacturing Quality Team, giving important production expertise from an Axis perspective to our production partners. Drive activities such as improvements in high volume and optimization of the production process. It is incredibly important to have an overall production understanding and a mindset to always improve while maintaining quality. You have a wish to help our partners in their production of Axis products and develop our cooperation. The team will have a deep collaboration with our external manufacturing partners (located in Asia, Europe, and North America) taking technical lead and ensuring that the requirements in the production process is fulfilled. When a product needs to be transferred or in startup for a new manufacturing site to produce Axis products, you will be a crucial part of the team to ensure a good setup and production process for Axis products. The Team will also function as the manufacturing partners connection to Axis, both serving as first line support and collecting feedback for improvement opportunities in future product projects. In the case of a required design change on a product in the high-volume phase, you will be working in collaboration with Product Maintenance to control and implement these changes. You will be instrumental in providing requirements and input to new production systems designed or bought by Axis and in their implementation at the factory.
