We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our product engineering team (BU RDS) at Aimpoint. You will develop and maintain high-quality sighting systems, working with new product development, product life cycle, and urgent technical or quality issues. The role requires strong analytical skills and technical knowledge in machining, precision mechanics, and tolerance analysis. Experience with D-FMECA, tolerance calculations, and test/validation is key to ensure our products meet high standards for accuracy, durability, and functionality.

Education and Qualifications Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
Typically 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably with focus on machining and precision mechanics.

We are looking for a Mechanical Designer/Engineer for a global company in Lund. Start is in June 1st, 7 months limited contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that. This role is 100% onsite in Lund. As a mechanical designer at Tetra Pak, you will work as part of a scrum team in a broad role, taking ownership from concept creation to industrialization of the solutions and products. This includes construction in Creo according to standards and requirements, but also stakeholder management, verification and validation planning and execution, including physical testing of your solutions, verifying manuals, and securing industrialization for consistent quality in collaboration with relevant parties in chain of manufacturing, assembly and final testing. What you’ll bring to the role Solid experience in mechanical design or relevant technical fields, such as product development and mechanical engineering. B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Design & Product Development, or equivalent. Experience working with 3D tools for designing mechanical components in a 3D environment; SolidWorks proficiency is advantageous. Experience in consumer products involving electronics and embedded software. Experience in testing, reliability, and qualification of systems, either in-house or on the partner side. Proven track record in transitioning designs into mass production, ensuring rigorous quality control and reliability standards. Experience working in the conceptual phase, physical prototyping, hands-on testing, and sustainability. Experience working closely with industrial designers. Proficiency with tools such as PowerPoint or Adobe and the ability to present ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
