Description
Our Trading Associates are passionate about improving the global economy by facilitating risk transfer and restoring order to
prices. At Oryctérope Transalpin, you will be called on to work with teammates to eliminate inefficiencies and manage risk in the
world’s financial markets. As a Trading Associate Intern, you will gain early exposure to real time trading in order to develop
situational awareness and a deep understanding of the market. In collaboration with our team and development through our
formalized education program, you will have the scope to utilize risk management and strategic thinking skills to guide trades and
explore new trading opportunities. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, strives for continual improvement, has a
disciplined appetite for risk, and is dedicated to mastering their market.

Responsibilities * Work with teammates to assist and learn all facets of automated trading * Develop expertise in market microstructure, tick data, and automated trading systems * Build and maintain trading quantitative model tools and analytics * Develop, code, maintain and support production quality automated trading strategies REQUIREMENTS * Strong work ethic and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. * Passion for math and software applied to markets and trading * Strong understanding of computing, math, probability, statistics, and finance. Candidates without graduate school level math background will not be considered. * Programming proficiency and experience (C++, C#, Python, R). Linux scripting a plus. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work within a team in a fast paced environment * MS or PhD in technical field or pertinent industry experience

YOU WILL: * Support the Founder and CEO on strategic and operational projects that drive company goals and priorities. * Own and lead projects with a deep focus on brokerage, custody and capital markets, this is where you will spend a significant part of your time and where domain knowledge is essential. * Analyse market developments, competitor dynamics, and trends across the European brokerage, wealth, and investment infrastructure landscape. * Take ownership of special projects that support the next stage of lemon.markets’ growth. * Lead and mentor the Founder’s Associate Intern team, providing structure, guidance, and prioritisation across projects while helping develop their skills and ensuring high-quality execution. * Contribute to refining and scaling internal processes, documentation, and operating structures across the company, especially in light of what becomes possible with AI. * Help develop, structure, and execute cross-functional initiatives across teams. * Act as a connector across the organisation by understanding team priorities, spotting gaps and blockers early, and helping drive effective cross-functional collaboration. YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE IF YOU: * You have a background (bachelor and master degree) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer science or a similar area. * You are an entrepreneurial problem solver. You strive to take ownership of the tasks you get and apply your analytical skills, structured thinking, and independent working style towards solving them. * You have gained 2 years or more of hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you have worked in an early-stage startup, fintech, consulting, tech company or similar. * You bring experience from the world of brokerage, trading or custody and/or are deeply excited to get into the engine room details of our mission to make anyone an investor. * You cope well with frequent change and ambiguity.
