Vi söker nu en lösningsorienterad och engagerad Sub Project Manager som vill ta en nyckelroll i våra produktutvecklingsprojekt. Som Sub Project Manager kommer du att arbeta med: Att planera och leda delprojekt inom produktutveckling Följa upp status, risker och avvikelser samt rapportera till styrgrupp och projektledning Säkerställa att R&D-leveranser sker enligt tidplan och mål Att driva och följa upp projektets tidplan, resurser och budget Säkerställa att projektprocesser och dokumentation följs och utvecklas Som Sub Project Manager är du en central del av projektets core team och ansvarar för att planera, koordinera och driva leveranser inom R&D. Du arbetar nära projektledare och utvecklingsteam. Ditt arbete är tvärfunktionellt utan formellt personalansvar, där ditt fokus är att skapa struktur, engagemang och framdrift i utvecklingsarbetet. Din profil Till tjänsten som R&D Sub Project Manager söker vi dig som är en naturlig ledare med förmåga att skapa struktur och driva fram resultat i komplexa projekt. För att trivas och lyckas i rollen är du en tydlig ledare som värdesätter samarbete och har lätt för att skapa goda relationer. Your focus will be to coordinate and drive broad, internal engineering and scale-up projects, such as production ramp-up, material innovations and design engineering, ensuring structure, momentum, and clear communication across R&D, production, and commercial teams. You will turn complex technical work into clear project specifications and executable plans, align resources, and follow up relentlessly until deliverables are completed. You will coordinate stakeholders across R&D, production and operations, remove blockers, and drive follow-up with a strong sense of structure and urgency. We are looking for someone who combines solid technical expertise, structured project management experience, and excellent collaboration skills. We believe that your background looks something like this: Educational background in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent technical background Extensive experience from various environments of leading technical projects to delivery in hardware-focused environments (physical products, materials, or manufacturing) Experience working in cross-functional teams, coordinating R&D, production, and operations Knowledge and experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches) Preferably experience of driving projects in an international environment and/or with manufacturing projects You are structured and analytical, able to manage multiple workstreams while keeping an eye on the bigger picture. You build trust across teams while setting clear expectations and holding stakeholders accountable in a constructive way. The department consists of four expert teams that work closely together, adapting their collaboration depending on delivery scope and customer needs. In total, the department comprises approximately 30 technical engineers, primarily based in Linköping, with additional team members in Stockholm. As the scope and complexity of our deliveries continue to grow, we see a clear need to strengthen our leadership capacity within Application Management. To ensure sustainable people management, continued team development, and high‑quality service delivery, the department is now being divided into two equally sized Application Management teams. We are therefore looking for two Department Managers who will work closely together as one leadership team. The managers will share responsibility for personnel, collaboration, and delivery, while jointly overseeing the Application Management function as a whole.
