At Zeppelin Power systems, we are looking for a Junior Project Document Controller to support our growing Data Center business. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in large engineering projects while working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, QHSE Managers, contractors, and clients. About the role As a Project Document Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring that project documentation is created, distributed, reviewed, and approved according to both our own and client requirements. You will support projects throughout all phases, including engineering, design, construction, production, testing, commissioning, and handover. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain assigned program(s) to ensure documentation is filed appropriately and deadlines are being kept. Update and maintain within our and client programs, such as, Proom, Profile, SharePoint etc. Facilitate the transfer, review, update, and approval of project documentation. Maintain the document register for specific projects ensuring deliverables are tracked and documents distributed to the relevant parties. Responsible for the document control software tools and the associated licenses. (Keeping up to date). Assist in the interface towards equipment vendors and contractors for their timely document delivery. Coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders for completion and handing over project documents. What we're looking for Relevant Master’s degree in Engineering for example; MSc Energy Systems, MSc Mobility Engineering (Automotive Engineering), MSc Systems, Control and Mechatronics, MSc Sustainable Electric Power Engineering and Electromobility Strong Microsoft skills, Basic CAD knowledge is an advantage. Responsibilities * End-to-end controllership for assigned legal entity(ies), including financial close, statutory reporting, audit readiness, regulatory filings, and adoption with the board or local management * Preparation and sign-off of statutory financial statements and coordination of statutory adoption processes with local boards and directors and external advisors * Manage external auditors and local service providers, setting scope, driving timelines, resolving findings, and maintaining high-quality documentation for audits, reviews, and regulatory inspections * Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, leading complex journal entries, reconciliations, technical accounting assessments, variance analysis, and executive reporting packages * Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of entity-level accounting policies and internal control frameworks, and own SOX and internal control compliance and remediation where applicable * Serve as the primary business partner to Tax, Treasury, Legal, FP&A, and regional finance teams on transactions and policy changes that affect the entity's accounting, tax, and regulatory outcomes * Identify, prioritize, and deliver process improvements and automation initiatives that materially increase accuracy, speed, or scalability of entity accounting (RPA, ERP configuration, reporting pipelines, templates, or tooling) * Resolve technical accounting questions and apply US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP judgment — escalate to central technical accounting teams when needed with well-formed recommendations * Provide coaching and mentorship to more junior accounting teammates, and lead cross-functional projects and working groups to improve operating models * Act as a subject-matter expert for entity-level reporting requests, internal and external audits, regulatory inquiries, and management escalations QUALIFICATIONS * Professional accountancy qualification (CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 9+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant controllership exposure * Deep hands-on experience with monthly and year-end close, statutory financial statement preparation, external audits, regulatory filings, and variance analysis * Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, and experience applying local GAAP and converging treatments across frameworks * Demonstrated experience owning internal control programs (SOX or similar) and executing control design and remediation * Track record of delivering automation or process simplification at the entity level (ERP, reconciliation tooling, reporting pipeline improvements) * Strong technical and problem-solving skills, advanced Excel ability, and experience with financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Workiva, Blackline, or similar). Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run. We are looking for a Mission Operations Training Engineer to build, own, and execute our end-to-end mission operations training program. In this role, you will be the technical authority for operations training across the program, embedding with our software, engineering, flight operations, and recovery teams to ensure both our personnel and the astronaut crews are fully prepared. As a Simulation Supervisor, you will work directly with the Ground Software and Flight Software teams to ensure fault-injection logic and training capabilities are built into the simulator architecture. Key Responsibilities * Own the training concept of operations, certification pipelines, and long-term training plans for flight controllers and ISS crews * Author and maintain the core curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional materials that translate vehicle engineering into operational proficiency * Script, orchestrate, and execute high-fidelity nominal and off-nominal simulation campaigns as Simulation Supervisor * Partner with Ground Software and Flight Software teams to ensure fault-injection capabilities and training requirements are built into the simulator architecture * Coordinate with subsystem engineers, Mission Directors, and external partners (ESA, NASA, CNES) to keep training aligned with current procedures * Incorporate flight anomalies, test failures, and operational lessons learned into simulator capabilities, training flows, and vehicle design * Mentor and grow junior training engineers and simulation controllers What we would love to see from you: The ideal candidate will have: * Master’s degree in an engineering or science discipline. * 8+ years of experience in spacecraft mission operations training or a comparable high-risk operations environment * Hands-on experience scripting and running simulation campaigns as a Simulation Supervisor, console operator, or equivalent role * Experience working directly with software development teams to define, review, and accept simulator capabilities or modeling environments * Technical knowledge of common spacecraft systems (GNC, avionics, propulsion, life support) * Demonstrated ability to translate complex systems engineering into operational training curricula and procedures Bonus qualifications: * Experience developing training for ISS crewmembers or human spaceflight missions * Background in custom simulation tooling, fault-injection scripting, or telemetry display environments * Prior certification as a flight controller. * Direct experience with NASA, ESA, or equivalent partners on joint training plans and operational products * Mentorship experience with junior engineers while remaining a significant individual contributor Why you should join us!
