As a Platform Architect, you will be part of our Engineering department, along with the other 70+ engineers working within
embedded systems, system software as well as windows applications and web services. You will work in the Engineering team,
reporting directly to the Director of Engineering and working alongside the Lead Solution Architect and other system architects

In this position, you play a central role in defining and evolving the architectural vision for our entire product portfolio. You

We are looking for an AI Architect, to help define, guide, and evolve the use of Artificial Intelligence across Novacura’s Flow Connect Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. The role bridges advanced AI capabilities, platform architecture, and product strategy, ensuring that AI solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term business and technology goals. The AI Architect provides architectural leadership across teams, shaping how AI is embedded into core platform services, customer-facing features, and internal developer tooling. The role combines hands-on architectural design with strategic influence, helping R&D teams turn AI opportunities into production-grade, value-generating capabilities. Your deep expertise in software development and architecture, combined with your recent experience in AI, will enable you to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and product strategy. What You’ll Do • Extensive experience in software engineering and architecture, with a clear progression into architecting and delivering AI‑enabled systems within production environments. • Demonstrated practical experience designing, deploying, and evolving AI solutions in real-world systems, including taking responsibility for architectural decisions that span multiple teams and services. • Recent hands-on experience across core AI domains, including traditional machine learning as well as modern AI approaches such as large language models (LLMs) and agentic or multi-component AI architectures, with an understanding of the trade-offs involved in production use • Strong architectural understanding of AI platforms, frameworks, and tooling, combined with an ability to assess emerging AI technologies and translate them into scalable, maintainable platform capabilities. • Proven ability to reason complex technical problems at a system level and clearly communicate architectural decisions, risks, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required. Nice to Have • Experience working in R&D or technology-focused environments, contributing to the design and evolution of cloud-native, scalable software. • Hands-on experience deploying and managing AI solutions using Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem, including Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, and Azure AI Foundry. • Background in product development and collaboration with product managers. • A strong interest in continuously expanding AI expertise and shaping technical excellence, combined with a pragmatic approach to adopting new technologies where they deliver clear value.
