We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Python & .NET) (f/m/d) to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of hospitality technology! WHAT YOU’LL BE UP TO * Develop and maintain scalable backend services hosted on AWS with a strong focus on Python-based applications and AI-driven products. * Contribute to full stack development initiatives, including backend APIs and selected frontend components using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. * Balance speed and quality, ensuring maintainable, reliable, and production-ready code without overengineering. * Mentor and support junior AI engineers by providing technical guidance, architectural feedback, and best practices. * Collaborate closely with product stakeholders, AI engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver new AI-related products and platform capabilities. * Contribute to future platform initiatives, including potential work within the .NET-based Storefront API ecosystem. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM * 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend development expertise, including advanced proficiency in Python for building scalable backend systems and production-ready services. * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/ Azure / GCP. * Strong understanding of software architecture, code quality practices, and engineering best practices. * Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and operate effectively as a senior individual contributor. * We are looking for candidates with hands-on C#/.NET development experience, given that C#/.NET 10 is our primary backend stack and key to our long-term platform strategy and flexibility. * Strong problem-solving, and collaboration skills, especially within fast-growing engineering teams. * A proactive mindset with the ability to guide junior engineers and help scale engineering excellence across the organization. Nice to Have: * Frontend development experience with TypeScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus. * Interest or experience in AI-related products, machine learning, or data engineering environments is beneficial. Purpose of the Position As Senior Software Engineer, you will take ownership of designing, building and operating scalable, high-quality systems within our award‑winning marketing platform. You will play a key role in shaping technical direction, influencing engineering practices, and driving improvements across the team and wider organisation.  You are a highly experienced and pragmatic technologist with a strong product mindset, able to balance technical excellence with business impact. You actively mentor others and contribute to raising the overall engineering bar. The Team You will be joining our Tracking tribe, a cross functional team at the core of the business, responsible for building and evolving Awin’s tracking platform, the backbone of our affiliate marketing network.  Tracking is critical to how Awin operates: it ensures accurate attribution, reliable reporting, and partner trust across advertisers and publishers.  Key tasks and responsibilities * Own the end-to-end delivery and operation of features and services. * Design, build, and evolve scalable, secure, and maintainable systems. * Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions. * Improve existing applications, reduce technical debt, and strengthen reliability. * Collaborate with Product Managers to turn business needs into technical solutions. * Identify and address technical risks, performance issues, and scalability challenges. * Champion engineering quality through testing, code reviews, tooling, and best practices. * Troubleshoot complex production issues and support system resilience. * Mentor engineers and contribute to the team’s technical growth. * Improve team processes across planning, delivery, and retrospectives. * Collaborate effectively with local and remote teams across the organisation.  Whilst the above outlines the general expectations of the role, we expect this position to evolve over time, offering opportunities to gain deeper knowledge and experience within the online and affiliate marketing domain.
