ABOUT THE ROLE You’ll build core user interfaces, APIs, and backend infrastructure. You’ll operate across the stack: designing, shipping, and maintaining everything from frontend product experiences to backend services that power strategy, data, and operations. This role is ideal for someone who likes shipping end-to-end, cares about craft, and enjoys working in a small team with high ownership. RESPONSIBILITIES * Design, build, and maintain frontend applications (web and/or mobile) and backend APIs powering core product experiences. * Work closely with research/quant and product teams to turn investment logic, simulations, and data pipelines into reliable product surfaces. * Build internal dashboards, tools, and data visualizations for monitoring portfolios, experiments, and operational workflows. * Own features end-to-end: architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, observability, and iteration. * Maintain high standards for code quality, usability, reliability, and performance. * Improve developer velocity through good systems: CI/CD, tooling, clear interfaces, and pragmatic documentation. REQUIREMENTS * 3+ years experience as a full stack engineer (startup, product team, or high-ownership environment). * Strong skills in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js) and backend development (Python, Node, Go, etc.). * Experience building, testing, and deploying production web applications. * Experience designing and integrating APIs (REST and/or GraphQL), plus strong understanding of data modeling and system boundaries. * Solid fundamentals: debugging, performance, and reliability in real-world systems. * Ability to work autonomously, prioritize well, and thrive in a fast-moving, research-driven culture. * Comfort leveraging modern AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, etc.) to increase output while maintaining maintainability and structure. * (Optional) Experience with mobile development (React Native, Swift, Kotlin, Flutter). * (Optional) Experience with financial systems, portfolio data, or high-stakes UX. About the Role You’ll bridge research and engineering—rapidly implementing, experimenting with, and scaling new algorithms and models. You’ll work closely with scientists and founders to translate ideas into high-performance systems, and will operate across the stack from prototyping to deployment. Responsibilities * Prototype and scale experimental models (LLMs, RL agents, agentic systems) on large, real-world data. * Build tools and pipelines for training, evaluation, and analysis. * Implement state-of-the-art research from papers and iterate in collaboration with scientists. * Own the full ML lifecycle: data engineering, experimentation, training, and deployment. * Operate in a highly autonomous, engineering-driven environment. ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a software engineer to help develop, launch, and maintain the first version of the ATG iOS app. This is a zero-to-one role: you’ll own the mobile experience end-to-end, from architecture to polish. Your work will directly shape how users interact with ATG, shaping the future of mobile AI experiences. As a key member of our team, you'll push the boundaries of iOS development, combining technical excellence with design finesse. From pixel-perfect UI to smooth animations and thoughtful micro-interactions, you’ll create seamless, motion-driven experiences that delight users. If you excel in building high-quality, intuitive, and visually stunning apps, this role is for you. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Architect and ship our first iOS app—from private beta to App Store release. * Implement core features with fluid UI, high performance, and scalable client infrastructure. * Collaborate closely with the founders, product, and design on prototyping, and product direction. * Build testing pipelines (unit tests, CI/CD) to keep reliability high while moving fast. * Deploy platform-level improvements (real-time syncing, on-device ML, efficient data flow). * Iterate quickly on new iOS experiences that make AI useful, intuitive, and delightful in every user’s pocket. * Prioritize performance, reliability, and responsiveness to deliver best-in-class mobile experiences.
