We are expanding our Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) practice within the Strategy & Deals team and are seeking a senior leader to
drive high-profile buy-side and sell-side engagements in New York. This role focuses on market strategy, growth diagnostics, and

What We Offer

experience and training, and licensure and certifications. The base salary range for this position is: $230,000 to $330,000 and is

We are expanding our Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) offering within the Strategy & Deals team and are seeking experienced professionals to support high-profile buy-side and sell-side engagements for Private Equity investors and corporate clients. Our engagements deliver rigorous market, competitive, and commercial insight — enabling investors to make well-informed transaction decisions. Level Guidance We are open at both the Associate and Senior Associate level, depending on candidate experience: * Associate (A):1+ years of relevant experience. * Senior Associate (SA): 3+ years of relevant experience. Key Responsibilities The responsibilities below apply across both levels; Senior Associates are expected to take greater ownership of workstream and client delivery. Engagements * Lead individual workstreams within CDD and growth-strategy projects, including market sizing, competitor benchmarking, and customer/expert research. * Manage and analyze qualitative and quantitative data sets (market data, financials, interviews, surveys) to develop actionable, investor-grade insights. * Support hypothesis development and contribute to client deliverables with clear, compelling storylines that stand up to IC scrutiny. * Integrate data-driven and AI-supported analytics to enhance speed and depth of insight. Client & Stakeholder Management * Engage directly with clients and expert networks to gather market intelligence. * Support client communications such as engagement updates and responding to requests. * Structure and present conclusions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Team & Practice * Supervise and coach junior team members, ensuring high-quality outputs and knowledge sharing. * Contribute to internal knowledge development and business development efforts, including proposals and thought leadership. What We're Looking For * 1+ to 3+ years of relevant experience in commercial due diligence (see Level Guidance above.) * MBA preferred (or equivalent advanced degree/experience) for Senior Associates. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfort with both qualitative and quantitative analysis. * Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to distill complex findings into clear insights. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-based environment with tight deadlines. * Interest in financial services and private equity transactions. * Familiarity with adjacent workstreams, such as operational due diligence and value creation, is advantageous.
