About the role
In this role, you will work globally with both new and existing customers, contributing to business development in a highly specialized and growing industry. You will be part of an international and agile organization with high influence, short decision-making paths, and strong internal collaboration.
The role involves complex, solution-oriented and high-value sales with long lead times and multiple stakeholders. You will take ownership of your business while working closely with internal experts and cross-functional teams.
Your geographical focus area will be defined based on your experience, network, and expertise.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a senior and commercially driven professional with solid experience from the nuclear industry.
You have a strong understanding of the market, technologies, and customer landscape, and are used to working with complex, long-cycle international sales. You combine technical understanding with commercial drive and are comfortable leading customer dialogues as well as coordinating internal teams.
You are self-driven, persistent, and thrive in an environment where you take ownership of your work and proactively develop new business opportunities.
Location & travel
The role is flexible in terms of location within Europe. However, regular presence at Studsvik’s site in Sweden (approximately one week per month) is expected.

Ditt uppdrag Som Global Area Sales Manager ansvarar du för att utveckla försäljningen inom dina marknadsområden och säkerställa att våra affärsmål uppnås. I rollen kommer du bland annat att: Driva och utveckla försäljningen på internationella marknader. Skapa och genomföra marknads- och aktivitetsplaner tillsammans med distributörer och dotterbolag. Bygga och utveckla långsiktiga kund- och partnerrelationer. Delta i kundmöten, mässor och andra affärsaktiviteter. Genomföra produkt- och säljutbildningar och presentationer. Följa upp resultat och säkerställa att försäljningsmål och budget uppnås. Tjänsten utgår från vårt huvudkontor i Strängnäs och en viktig del av arbetet är regelbundna internationella resor. För att lyckas i rollen Vi tror att du har erfarenhet av försäljning eller affärsutveckling i en internationell miljö och att du trivs med att skapa resultat genom andra, exempelvis distributörer, partners eller lokala säljorganisationer. Du behöver kunna förstå tekniska produkter och kommunicera deras affärsvärde till kunder och samarbetspartners. Därför är det viktigt att du har en teknisk förståelse som gör att du känner dig trygg i dialogen med både tekniska och kommersiella beslutsfattare. Eftersom du planerar och driver ditt arbete självständigt behöver du vara strukturerad, initiativrik och van att prioritera mellan olika aktiviteter för att nå uppsatta mål. Rollen kräver att du kommunicerar obehindrat på engelska i både tal och skrift samt att du trivs med att arbeta i olika kulturer och bygga relationer internationellt.
