As the Ground Systems Infrastructure Electrician/Electrical Technician, you will help us maintain all kinds of different
test-benches and test-rigs at Isar Aerospace. Your tasks include carrying out the maintenance of control cabinets and electrical
systems (incl. measurements acc. VDE), troubleshooting, implementing upgrades to our existing systems, wiring of control cabinets
and more. Some mechanical hands-on work will be part of your daily business as well. You will have close exchange with the
electrical planners/engineers as well as with our test engineers and operations crew! You use your expertise to manage our
electrical helpdesk and help to coordinate the different tasks with all stakeholders.

Mission Brief As a Ground Systems Working Student, you will support the design and setup of a new control room for launch operations while contributing to broader systems engineering and development activities within the Ground Systems team. You will help translate operational needs into structured and practical system solutions across both physical and software domains. Mission Brief As a Controls & Automation Engineer at ISAR, you will be deeply involved in building and maintaining all kinds of test benches, test sites and launch sites for subcomponent testing up to launching rockets. This will include planning, developing and commissioning of the required control systems (Beckhoff PLC & TwinCAT 3), followed by full lifecycle support, including troubleshooting and upgrading systems. Mission Brief You will help us build and maintain all kinds of different test-benches and test-sites but also our launchpad in Andoya for our launcher "Spectrum". Besides planning the systems with our ECAD program “WSCAD”, your tasks include carrying out the build-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, implementing upgrades and more. Some hands-on work will be part of your daily business as well. You will have close exchange with our engineering departments across all our different testing and launch sites! You use your expertise to guide and manage the electrical aspects of medium-sized projects, including overseeing small electrical teams and coordinating with external companies. Your Role in Our Space Mission: * Lead the electrical aspects of medium-sized projects * Coordinate work in small workgroups and coordinate external companies and suppliers * Plan electric systems for various in-house test benches (24VDC & 230/400VAC) * Create circuit diagrams for control cabinets acc. to local and company standards * Wire different kinds of sensors and actors * Construct and wire control cabinets and whole electrical systems * Install control cabinets and other electrical systems * Troubleshooting of complex electrical systems * Carry-out standardized functional testing of control cabinets and preparation of measurement protocols Qualification Checklist * You have a completed apprenticeship as electrician, and a further education "staatl. gepr.
